Not overly optimistic about this one. Looked tired in the second half against Monaco and Poch is restricted in making further changes. Plus losing Son is a massive blow.

I'm going for a 1-1, but a win would be huge after beating City.

Eriksen for us.

All depends on how Ayew/Montero play. Siggy has been low on form but he could kick it up a notch against his old club. Real danger is Ayew and montero though. Montero's been on the bench recently, hope they stick with that and don't play both of them from the off.

We haven't lost in the last 10 games against Swansea, drawing only 2 and winning the last 7

We have conceded 11 goals in those games, but have found the net 24 times, and are 2 short of scoring 100 goals against them in all games.

The last league defeat against them was back in October, 1982 in the 1st Division losing 2-0

I think with our defence being more solid, we will win this one.

We played a strong team on Thursday, and a lot of those players will be playing again on Sunday. But it's early in the season and they can handle it.

The unfortunate thing is both Dier and Alli are on 4 yellows a piece, and losing one or both for the following game vs Liverpool.

They should play their natural game so that we can win this. One game at a time. Liverpool's game will take care of itself.

Lloris
Walker Toby Verts Davies
Dier Alli
Townsend Lamela N'jie
Kane
Pace on the wings to keep them busy. Dembele and Mason to come on later in the game if Dier and Alli are tiring. (Assuming they are fit / available). Eriksen and Chadli not doing enough to start IMO.

You want pace on the flanks but yet you omitted Rose? Good lineup though

I would take a 1-1 now. Swansea are really fired up for this game, if you read the links all week they see this as pretty much the game to kick start their season again and they think we are there for the taking. It does look that way and I think their pace on the wings might be too much for us. Unlike last season, we are picking up multiple inhuries and Kane isn't doing his Bale impression of single handedly winning us these type of tough, close away matches. Massive blow to lose Son and i am not sure where the creativity /goals will come from. Perhaps Eriksen will fire in one of his free kicks or Alli will provide something. Would like( but don't expect) to see a bit more of Clinton just to see if his pace might give them something different to think about as Harry will be easy to isolate up front and he tends to drift out wide in search of the ball. At least Swansea don't have a great deal of striking firepower themselves so it should be fairly tight.

I'd take a draw right now tbh, would love a win and think a defeat would be a sizeable step back. It's not vital we win this game but a defeat, of any nature, just stalls any momentum we might have built in these last few weeks.

I know you are trying to be realistic but you can be positive as well. We are going to win!

One thing in our favour is Walker being rested. Key battle could be him against Montero, and I reckon he'll come out on top.

Although I'm not overly optimistic for this I still wouldn't take a draw if offered now, we've the better team and players - and that can make all the difference in tight games, one moment of quality.

I really enjoy watching Swansea under Gary Monk, I think they go about the game in the right way, and play some great stuff. They play their best stuff at home usually.

We'll need to be strong and control the midfield, prevent Siggy and Shelvey from pulling the strings, and Kyle/Danny need to be sharp against their wingers.

Is Gomis likely to play?

I know people will probably disagree with me but I'd like to see Wimmer play for this one. He needs premiership experience.
