Tal Ben Haim is on the verge of ending his Chelsea nightmare by sealing a summer move to Tottenham. The controversial Chelsea defender's career at Stamford Bridge is over and Tottenham manager Juande Ramos believes he has landed his man.

Solid strong defender. Would be a good addition to the squad as long as we don't overpay for him.

Would be good business. Shouldn't cost much and for him it's a choice of 90% of games in Chelski reserves vs. (total Spurs matches - 12)* games in our first team. He'd be good for the likes of Kaboul, Dawson, Dervite, Bale and Hutton too.

* the dozen games that Ledley plays

I'd like to see him here, looks very capable when I've seen him. Wouldn't wanna spend a huge amount on him as think we do need better as a first choice CB, but still very useful cover

Not good enough for Chel$ki, but good enough for us.

Seeing as Chelski's policy is to basically snap up anyone who becomes available so they can't join a potential rival whether they need a player in that position or not I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing.

I think he's pretty good, been a regular for Israel for some time and generally done well; though just the Mail as a source doesn't exactly make his arrival a certainty...

I do when John Terry is in their first team.
