t had become one of English football's long-running jokes. When did Tottenham last sign a player?
As it turned out, Tanguy Ndombele was Spurs' second purchase since Lucas Moura arrived from Paris St-Germain in January 2018.

who wouldn't want Mousa Sissoko as his big brother?

That's a real benefit having Mousa there to help this kid settle in the middle of the park.

I cant wait to see Winks, Tanguy and Mousa dominate and take apart teams this season.

I just hope they all remain fit.

I think apart from the 45 degree weather's affect on NDombele, that he is great. Even in this game he surged forward and quickly and incisively made passes in a more direct manner than Dembele or the sideways passing of many of our midfield over the past years.
He will fit in fine with any of the players. Sissoko I love as he is a workhorse,Winks is good but more on the conservative side,I like Skipp as well but I think NDombele is going to be fantastic getting the ball forward to our host of attackers

Apart from the skill level, the most noticeable thing for me was his little grapple with Pogba yesterday, where Pogba couldn't out muscle him - something our Dembele-less midfield struggled with last season. Amazing to have such a strong guy but with such a good skill level as well.

Just about to mention Skipp. He has really impressed In the two preseason games I have seen. His passing, composure on the ball has been great.

I really like him from the beginning. He runs on the field looking to expand the game,he runs into space and looks for the best pass.I really like him. The problem is that NDombele needs a strong defensive DM behind him (which we have) but Skipp always looks to me like a player that wants to push the ball forward. Its great and he can play some of the smaller games as a CM cant really see Skipp as a DM until he fills out more

Indeed, and am I right in thinking Sissoko has rarely missed games due to fitness issues?

Re Skipp, seems he’s a junior Winks, no? A good thing, or perhaps they’re different players.
