Maybe this is what Poch meant be being brave. Get both Ndombele and Haidara, sell Wanyama and Dembele.

Even if we kept Wanyama and Dembele left then it's possible Poch would want 2 more CMs if he has no plans to play Eriksen there. Winks has just had surgery so really all we're left with is Sissoko.

I'm not against us bringing Ndombele in as he looks good but I still think we'd need someone capable of dictating a game from deep, not sure he's that player.

Whether Haidara is, I don't know.

This is why I like Diawara, I think he has a bit of both in him. That energy, but also that poise and composure when it's needed.

Not really up to date with young talents anymore as I’ve quit all my football management games but from 8mins of that YouTube vid, he looks very good.

Looks like with some tutoring and progress he will be a unique force in world football with his skill set. Not many other centre midfielders can play like him and with growth, could be absolutely sensational.

Completely depends on the price and what we want him for, I think he shouldn’t be brought in to start straight away but certainly someone who can contribute and grow.

from very limited YouTube viewing of the three players ? here are my thoughts.

Ndombele looks like he can glide past players but it feels like she’s always about to fall over, ball stuck to his feet with his head down. I’d wonder if he’d run into dead ends and not move the ball quickly enough.

Haidara seems to lack a bit of awareness, plays the ball in the wrong places in a lot of the clips. Perhaps I’m missing something but he doesn’t seem to standout in a YouTube clip where theoretically they should be able put together some clips to make him looks pretty outstanding. Not a fair comparison as Dembele is a truly unique player, but a dembele YouTube vid would far outshine this.

Diawara looks the most complete

NDombele is a diamond in the rough. I believe Poch can refine him.

He's young & plays a lot with his head down & as you say "ball gets stuck in his feet".
He's impressive in the vid as he seems to find his way. But that's what these compilations do: highlight the good. It's not uncommon for him to lose the ball, miss or misplace a pass. Again, he's young & hopefully he can learn from someone.

Not seen this guy at all but is he a better option than Winks? Also I see England had Dele lining up alongside Dier yesterday. Could he play there as he matures?

not entirely sure, as I don't think they have signed him yet ,guess he could refuse to sign with Lyon, but then why would we negotiate with Lyon

How these loan-with-option-to-buy deals work is that the player will have agreed a contract with the buying club before the loan is agreed to. In theory, like any player under contract, he can then say he doesn't want to play for them.

But it's not a case of Lyon can't pull the option if he doesn't want the permanent move. If that is the case, Lyon would sell him on like any other disgruntled player.

I think this might be a similar situation to Toby Alderweireld-Southampton,just hope this doesn't get dragged like that one.

This seems like too obvious of a Dembele replacement (if anybody can replace him), but I just don’t see how this works out.

Standard YouTube video made better by a bit of jungle

Love his dribbling ability and the way he is able to wriggle his way out of tight spaces when surrounded by the opposition is very dembele-esque.

He does look like someone who keeps flicking the right analogue stick when he has the ball though.

Seems to play the game at a frantic pace already so playing in the prem should be easy fir him.
Looks good :)

i Don’t know if this guys is going to be what we need...
He has more forward key passes than any other player in Europe. By some way. It’s the french league but I think he is hugely underestimated by many.

It will never happen because Lyon won’t let it but £50m would be a great deal
