Anyone else noticed how our press conferences are always later than BBC announce in their daily news?

I will be dressed as a power ranger running round Camden on a stag.

If you want to know which one is me, i'll be the one with an erection sticking through the lyrca at full time (if we win)

got to return to 3 at the back and approach the game the same as at WHL. Should help us cover the bigger pitch better too defensively.

Wembley is not a place for us to man mark. It can have an adverse effect i.e. the game becomes 10v10 and our players are dragged out of position to cover.

We struggle there as it is and I imagine the pitch dimensions play a part. Not too much larger than WHL sure but large enough that at this level it makes a difference. Player's positioning - especially the full backs - come into play whereas at WHL they are conditioned to know when and where to go as a habit. Also pressing the opponents. There is a risk we leave gaps in behind and get caught in two minds. It happened in the Champions League games.

Again it's all about being conditioned - next season when we train there full time we should get better.

Wembley pitch dimensions are the same as Old Trafford.

They'll be full strength, we can beat them though if we are on our game.

Yup, there'll probably be lots of shite from them in the next couple of days (Cahill etc) but for one and a half games this season we've been better v them so we shouldn't be worrying. It'll be a fucking tough game, whichever way the result goes. Just got to not get overawed.

Whatever the team there will be one of Son, Wanyama and Dier very unlucky to miss out unfortunately.

I think he'll go three at the back personally, it worked well at WHL and appears to be an effective way of lessening Chelsea's threat. That said, i wouldn't mind wagering that Conte is more worried about dealing with us than Poch is dealing with them so i wouldn't be entirely surprised if we went balls out with four attackers (Dier missing out). I am also more comfortable with BD as a LB rather than a LWB.

Basically i haven't got a clue.

I kept thinking that but for some reason I think Poch may go 4231.

The movement and interchange of Alli and Erisken will be vital. I think that Conte will play two defensive MF to close both down as early as possible to stifle the supply to Kane. The tactic he used in the second half against Citeh the other week.

I think he'll play this formation to as it's the only way Poch can cater for an inform Son and it means we're not reliant on Davies providing any width. The question is who or Dier and Wanyama miss out? With Dier performing well in midfield recently I think he'll get the nod over Wanyama.

Im now not so sure about this.

I've been reading a few articles this morning about Conte and today's Chelsea team won't play the same way as they did when we beat them 2 nil earlier this year. Conte learns from games like that, he too good tactically not to. I just hope Poch and the coaches are clued up enough to realise it won't be the same game. I suspect they are, which makes me think we might go back to 4321 using Dier as the deep midfielder with wanyama against Kante and dembele against matic.

If there was one game though I wish Winks was available for it's this one, he'd be perfect to come on later on against this Chelsea team. We don't have the ability to replace a central midfielder now with another quality one like the chavs do with bringing fabregas on later in the game.

Got a feeling it's going to be won or lost in midfield this game, unless they switch hazard over to the right hand side to run at Davies, which is what I'd do. He'd have joy all day against him. It's the reason missing Rose is so huge and could be the match defining issue. With Danny playing I'd be so much more confident.

A team that has lost 2 out of 3 and who have conceded a few as well, we have to go at em and don't give them time to settle.

Son from the off for me, I can understand the formation point but we got to have as much pace up there as possible.

People have been banging on about Cahill and Luiz, get a few balls over the top to Kane Alli and Son and we will destroy them.

Both average centre backs made to look good by fantastic midfield cover.
