Do we go 3-5-2 and drop Son or 4 at the back and drop Dier or Wanyama?

Tough one this- with Rose, definitely a 343. Without him, maybe. They really struggled against this formation with us at home. The trick is to spread their CBs wide to open gaps or force their wing backs to drop deeper and put presure on them in their final third. If we keep Hazard quiet, I think we'll win this but he'll thrive in the wide spaces or between the lines. Either way, we're in excellent form so anticipate a good game

Really, really tough call this but ultimately Poch has to pick the side he deems best to hurt and combat Chelsea. I would wager he'll go three at the back, starting Wanyama and Dembele in the middle, with Son as a great option from the bench to bring on.

That said, and it will never happen, but Son's off the ball work and defensive contribution was the best I had seen today, he looks fitter and was more tenacious and involved in battles than I had seen before. Would be interested to see if he could handle a left wing back role as he"d offer so much more than Davies driving forward.

However it's never going to happen in a game of this magnitude, so keeping a settled back line and Son as an option from the bench is the way I see Poch going.

I would go with this. Very harsh on son but we looked so good with that formation vs the chavs at home playing 3 at the back. Hope rose is back in place of Davies but that looks unlikely

This is a vitally important game. People on here moan about stuff like the pundits on Sunday supplement and such like don't give us enough credit, well this is the game that changes people's perception. This is the game that helps us. Push on

If we lose, it will be same old spurs. If we win, it is a statement and if we win the cup I think we will oush in hugely from there. This team needs to win something.

Can't see rose playing in this at all, he hasn't played for ages so won't be close to full match fitness even if he has fully recovered from his injury in time.

I think he has to go Wanyama given how he eviscerated Kante last time. Harsh on Son, but he can be an impact sub.

It's a big pitch and we will need to protect the back 4. I think for that reason Wanyama will start and so will Walker due to his work rate. Son and Erikssen were excellent today and worked very well together, so I would stick with Son.

Lloris
Walker Tobes Verts Davies
Wanyama Dembele
Son Erikssen Dele
Kane

I agree with most but am slightly worried about Davies and Wanyama, although a beast, not quite being 100% despite a good week of training ahead.

If anything happens to Hazard, Costa or Kante tomorrow I'd feel better. Who in the Manure side can do a job on them? Rojo perhaps? Zlatan if he looses it...

Personally would go with Trippier over Walker. Not as quick but end product so much more effective.
Not against Chelsea. His distribution may be better, but he wouldn't get into any attacking positions to take advantage; especially if Rose is missing on the other flank. We'd have no pace on either wing. Walker keeps Chelsea busy in defence and attack.
