I’m assuming you think Son won’t be fit . . .
Not necessarily but as he's been playing through a groin injury for the last month, i wouldn't risk any more damage to it and think it's a good opportunity to give Veliz a game.

Not sure Veliz will be ready to be thrust into this sort of match but at least we have the option! I would prefer Royal come in at RB and push Porro forward, Kulu on the left with Richy up top. Let Son get over his knock but have him on the bench if it goes t!ts up

That is a really good shout. Pedro would love playing that role and he would feed Richy constantly.

This was apparently Sonny after he was taken off Saturday. Doesn't look too happy about something. Maybe his hamstring?

Hmm yea not good when Ange said about him and Maddison carrying knocks and feeling sore a few games in a row, all players have aches and pains but for Ange to be mentioning it and Sonny to be coming off 60-70mins isn't a great sign tbh.

Ideally he plays vs Luton and then rests over the IB but doubt that'll happen.

I don't expect Ange will change the defensive side of things.

Richy and Deki will obviously start, so that leaves question marks over Maddison and Son.
Assuming they both start, we have limited options with Veliz the likeliest candidate to get a game.

Emerson and Davies give us options to move Udogie and Porro further up.

Gil most likely on the bench to get a few mins of playing time. And probably one of the U21s.
Sess I dint think is near full fitness.

Must win game.

Indeed. We MUST win the games we are expected to win. This reinforces the winning mentality, this is where the accumulation of points happens. The big games are more uncertain.

Can't believe anyone's suggestion rotating a single player. We have a good first team and borderline fuck all else. We are capable of losing any game with even a 5% drop-off. Luton away in the early kick off is a classic banana skin. Set piece experts, Doughty with constant chance creation and they are a huge threat in the air - we will need to be right at it to take 3 points here. Change absolutely nothing unless we have to.

I think people are assuming the Son and/or Maddison are likely to be out or rested.

The idea of resting anyone is madness. If they can play, get them out there. We have the least possible number of games and there's an international break right after
