I think Naughton will never be a first choice Spurs player and will leave before he gets any real opportunity, much like Gunter before him.
There is probably too much standing in his way, especially as Charlie is only 23 and Hutton 25...
He looks a decent prospect, but I don't back him to break through here.
When i queued up to get my shizz signed by Crouch and Naughton in town, an official came out the shop and said Naughton wont be coming because he has just gone on loan?
Cant believe for a player who i think cost us in region of £5 million will never play a proper game for us.
Gomes
Hutton - Bassong - Daws - Bale
Lennon - Hudd - Palacios - Rose
Defoe - Keane
Subs: Alnwick, Naughton, Jenas, Bentley, Bostock, Pav, Crouch.
Rest Corluka and BAE completely, but keep the core of Saturday.
Isn't he at Brentford?
Bostock is, not Bentley! Think you highlighted the wrong name
Yep, I did....can't we send Bentley to Brentford as well though.
Don't care too much about this competition , getting into CL is all that matters this year. But winning at OT would be another boost so I would go with a fairly strong team :
Gomes
Hutton Dawson Bassong BAE
Bentley Jenas Hudd Bale
Keane Defoe
Subs : Alnwick, Naughton, WP, Lennon, Gio, Crouch, Pav
King injured again. I am all for keep on giving the guy a chance but I feel its time to let him go, give him a job in the coaching/development side of spurs and reward him for long service. Bring in fresh legs that aren't made of class. Poor feller.
This is my 1000th post
-----------Gomes
Hutton Dawson Bassong BAE
Bentley Huddlestone Jenas Bale
---------Defoe Keane
A relatively strong side which deals with the 'politics' quite well. Keane would surely throw a strop if not picked here not that his form demands it. Huddlestone will start because Harry knows very well that he has become a bit of a talisman as our only 'ever present' in a great start to the season. Corluka could do without facing the United pacey wide men again. Pav has dropped so far down the pecking order that Joe Jordan has his boots on before him and Crouch looked knackered at the finish against Villa. Palicios is another one who looks a bit off the pace and should be saved for Wolves.
