Off topic: anyone Else hope for United winning Champions league, snubbing either Arsenal or liverpool?

On topic:
All i want is to play the players that are going to play next year, and a style that we will implement over the long run.

And can we please give our best youth the taste of the game?
Doesn't have to be the "best" players, but those who are likely to make it in a couple of years.mcEvoy? He Could be 15 for all I care, but it's no use of playing Someone like Obika and then ship him out After the season... (Just an example)
Tims line up for next season
Another in goal
Walker dawson Another rose
lennon Bentilab dembele Townsend
Kane Ade

The team i would like to see

Loris
Walker Verts Chiri another
Sandro/Capoue Holtby
Lamela Bentilab Eriksen
Ade/Soldado

Subs Chadli Townsend kaboul Paul and couple of youngsters

Lloris

Don't care Kaboul Vertonghen Don't care

Paulinho Sandro Bentaleb

Eriksen Adebayor Chadli
U put "don't care" in two positions?!

Since that isn't possible (we wouldn't want to play with 10 men) I would suggest "don't care" on RB and "Who Gives-afuck" on LB(y)

The last third of the pitch is where we have suffered game after game, having been willingly patient with Soldado this season I don't think he's an option to start a game any longer. By all means bring him on in the 2nd half if the situation demands a change, but up front must be Ade and/or Harry. I also think Lennon is coming close to his sell-by date. Danny needs to quickly make his mind up about the manager so that we start next season with a balanced squad.

Because they provide width and because pace always unsettles opponents.

I genuinely thought this post was made in jest, until I looked at the screen name of the individual posting it.

Let's go over this again.

Lennon and Townsend have combined for 2 goals and 1 assist in 2768 minutes in league play. Find me two less productive wingers with a minimum of 2000 minutes played in one team anywhere in the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, or the Budesliga. Can you do that?

Width and pace sure as hell haven't seemed to unsettle anyone we've played any time recently, including teams from Ukraine and Portugal, who some here claim are in leagues that are far inferior to the Prem.

Once Sherwood is gone and a new manager is brought in, we'll see these two relegated to being where they belong: as substitutes only.

LLORIS
NAUGHTON KABOUL VERTHONGEN ROSE
SANDRO
SIGGI BENTALEB
ERIKSEN SOLDADO CHADLI
OR IF KABOUL IS OUT &
DEMBELE FIT
LLORIS
NAUGHTON FRYERS VERTHONGEN ROSE
SANDRO BENTALEB
DEMBELE ERIKSEN CHADLI
SOLDADO
I'd give Soldado 60-70 mins to give Adebayor a rest & have him ready for Liverpool next wk, I thought Siggi done well playing centrally against Benfica, so if Dembele is out he deserves to start in the middle, maybe interchange with Eriksen from time to time.

Amazing how many people are going with 1 up front, considering the huge fuss Spurs fans made about AVB only plying 1 up top at home... This is not an AVB defence post btw, just pointing out an observation.

Personally I think part of the reason we have slipped has been down to Tim doing away with his all out 4-4-2 attack and going for a more cautious 4-5-1 instead. Personally I would have Ade and Soldado up front, Chadli and Lennon on the wings with Sandro and Eriksen in the middle (altho I think he'll play Bentaleb and drop Sandro back with Vertonghen)

It was interesting Tim saying that with that difficult run of games out of the way, he can stop setting up to counter opponents, and play more in the style he wants us to play, so that we impose ourselves upon the opposition.

I am very interested to see what team he puts out.

I'd even give this a crack

Walker Kaboul Verts Rose
Sandro
Bentalen Eriksen
Chadli
Soldado Adebayor

We have barely even collected an assist, let a lone any real goals from the wings this year. Chadli looked good behind the striker. Two up front worked against Southhampton and the most dangerous we have looked this season is with 2 strikers. Sandro to provide cover for the defence. Bentaleb can keep play ticking over and Eriksen can provide some cutting edge with his vision and through balls.

It is an attacking side, but we NEED goals and have to roll the dice

4411 doesn't have to be cautious though, if Eriksen or Chadli are played behind Ade with a free role, it could be quite adventurous.
We did well with VDV behind Ade, and that wasn't 2 up as such.
