Its going to be a tough call for the RB, but i think it would be harsh to drop Hutton after the performance he game against Hull.

Corluka is a fants

astic RB, but at CM (ok not his best possiotion) there was too many errors.

Cudicini in for the inured Gomes and King to come back in at CB. Everyone else stays the same

Cudicini
Hutton King Bassong BAE
Lennon Palacios Hudd Modric
Keane Defoe

I look at Corluka some times and I do wonder is he as good as us Spurs fans make out.:-|

Wonder no more. He really is.

Same side as Liverpool for me, except presumably Cudicini for Gomes.

Id be tempted to play Hutton.

Not only was he outstanding last night but he looks like an absolute mare to play against, he's a nasty little fvcker and he doesnt give players a second on the ball. Very valuable.

People doubt Corluka because he is not laden with pace, but there is more to the art of defending than being an athlete. Look at the way Ashley young had the quick-fire Zokora all over the place last season, when Corluka came on, he had him in his pocket.

Same for me Spurslenny.

I think we'll need to keep a tighter ship against West Ham than we did against Hull, so Corluka to return to right back and King in the centre for me.

I do find it funny people want Hutton to play because he's had one good performance for us whereby every player was given the freedom of the pitch and all he had to do was mark a dirty little gyspy and yet Corluka has played brilliantly for us since the turn of the year (despite playing CB at times) and they want him dropped.

He's one of the best RB in the league and Hutton has a way to go before he gets to Charlie's level.

Cudicini

Corluka King Bassong Assou-Ekotto

Lennon Palacios Huddlestone Modric

Keane Defoe

Subs: Jansson, Pavlyuchenko, Crouch, Giovani, Bentley, O'Hara, Hutton

No one wants him dropped, but I've never seen Corluka play like Hutton did last night. I think they're both good players but if you watch the game again Hutton really wasn't good he was outstanding and denigrating his performance by calling Hunt ' a dirty little gypsy ' (why is that, because he's Irish?) just shows the agenda you already have against Hutton. Don't have favourite players it just makes you come across as a kid and influences what you choose to see. And Hutton hasn't only had one good performance, he put in plenty like that when he first joined Spurs, but not last season when he wasn't fit.

Corluka wasn't terrible last night but he was a bit vulnerable at times and looks more comfortable at RB when he's under less pressure and has more time on the ball. I'm happy with either on Sunday but credit where it's due, Hutton was excellent last night and it wouldn't kill you to admit it just because you 'like' Corluka more...

Every nuetral or opposition fan i speak to raves about Corluka. I think becasue we watch spurs on the edge we see his body language and style as too casual. Others not so tense, see it as classy and in control. Yes at CB on a couple of occasions against Hull he was sloppy but Hull allowed that with thier crudness. Against liverpool he was just class and it wasn't until i saw that game for the second time after hearing my liverpool fans comments about him that i realised just how good he was.

Same team as liverpool please but a little more attention to subs. If the introduction of crouch is making us go long we should resist using him till we learn to play to his feet as much as many normal centre forward.

We have a carling Cup tie coming up to play hutton and Naughton and pav and crouch from the start so no need to rotate yet.

I actually like Hutton, but I do think he's overrated by some Spurs fans because he runs fast. He got caught a couple of times himself last night, one of which he got booked for.

My thoughts are that Corluka should not lose his place in the team because he 'took one for the team' by playing CB last night. He is better than Hutton in every single way except pace, which we have Lennon for anyway.

There's no agenda, merely the fact that Hutton's performance was far from perfect and Corluka has been playing brilliantly since the turn of the year.

Since when is this sort of blatant racism acceptable here or on any other message board this side of stormfront?

racist? irish isn't a race it's a nationality. if anything he's a xenophobe! but even his comments are not that.

i'm suspicious of the motivations of people who go out their way to tell tales, especailly odd weird incorrect tales.

I know players shouldn't be tired, being the start of the season and that, but just get the feeling we need to make changes for West Ham to freshen it up a bit, as they've had a rest since last Saturday, and had no midweek game.

What changes I would make, I am not sure.

Same line-up as against Liverpool, though is tough on leaving Hut out after a good game from him yesterday. Who do West Ham have playing on the left these days?

And you don't have an agenda?!! Watch the game again - Hutton got booked because Corluka's pass to him was misplaced and intercepted by Hunt and Hutton then raced back 30 yards, caught Hunt who went down and got booked for it. Corluka's mistake not Hutton's.

He is not better than Hutton in every single way except pace. Hutton is better in the air, is much more tenacious and is a better athlete too. He definitely is stronger and tougher physically and is a very good technical footballer. The idea that Corluka's a top technical footballer and Hutton doesn't come close is an erroneous one. There's little between them technically.

His performance was much closer to perfect than far from it I think, but you clearly don't want to give him too much credit for a top performance.

Kendall shouldn't be hung out to dry but it's a lazy, ignorant comment to make and we'd be better off without it on here.

What a pleasant time it is to be a Spurs fan

Out only dilemma is a choice between Hutton and Corluka at RB, and they're both good.

The rest of the team picks itself (until we lose)

I think Ledley might be rested again for this one. I can see hutton charlie bassong and BAE across the back. the midfield should stay the same lennon palacios hudd and modric, and we may go for Crouch and Defoe up front
