Hugo; Walker, Fazio, Jan, Danny; Mason, Stambouli; Eriksen, Mousa, Chadli; Kane.

Vorm, Dier, Davies, Paulinho, Lamela, Townsend, Soldado.

I've really liked Mousa in the #10-role, Chadli offers a goalthreat and quite solid defensively. I'm a big Lamela fan but he will have to start this one on the bench. Otherwise no biggies, Danny has been really good and has the speed.

Going to be a very interesting week.

Pretty much the first full week that Poch has had to work with the squad without a midweek game to prepare for.

Probably a lot saved up from recent matches to talk to individual players with - especially some of the players who seemed to be out of favour but look to be staying (Dembele, Paulhino et al) who seem to be adopting to Poch's style albeit slowly.

Perhaps time to work on a different formation/way of playing eg a CM3 as an alternative to play against stronger sides.

Could be a week that is pivotal to the second part of the season

Keep the same line-up up as West Brom, only bring Stambouli on for Paulinio. I'd keep Dembele up front, I think his physicality might just come in handy against arsenal. And he always seems to do quite well against the bigger teams. I'd keep Lamela on, as say what you want about his end product but his pressing is what we need against an Arsenal side that play keep ball better than us. Townsend and Chadli on the bench for back up.

If we play half as well as we did against Chelsea then we will absolutely smash them. Feeling quite confident as we are a much better side since we last met and definitely a much better, more confident side since last season at the Lane.

A couple of decisions to be made I guess. Fazio or Dier? Rose or Davies? Stambouli or Paulinho? Lamela or Chadli?

Think I'd go with this...

Lloris
Walker Fazio Vertonghen Rose
Stambouli Mason
Lamela Dembele Eriksen
Kane

If Bentaleb is back, I'd probably throw him in. Shame to leave Chadli out but with Dembele's last two appearances and Lamela's willingness to press I'd be keen to keep that front four.

We are going to have be careful if Sanchez is back fit for them.

And if they play like they did against City, sit deep and counter, we will have to be twice as careful.

Id love if Bentaleb was back even to make the bench.

Walker needs to up it too.

Paulinho Mason

Dembele Eriksen Chadli

Kane

Paulinho in purely as he is a bit more mobile and with Arsenals very technical / mobile players thought was more suited.

I'd want to go for a few changes. Chadli for Lamela and Stambouli for Paulinho.

Lloris
Walker, Fazio, Verts, Rose
Stambouli, Mason
Chadli, Dembele, Eriksen
Kane

Having said that, the front 4 with Dembele in the 10 role has seemed to be working well, so maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea to take Lamela out of it so on more reflection i might only go for the Paulinho for Stamouli switch.

Davies for Rose might also be argued, but Rose seems to love him an NLD for some reason so lets keep him in there for this one

Has Wenger rested Sanchez for them today? Or is he out with an injury?

Personally think Lamela has to start for his defensive contribution alone, he really harries opponents and really doesn't back off. He has started to play a little more cautiously going forward as well. After two good performances i wouldn't drop him for Chadli and certainly not for Townsend.
