Kane and soldado likely to start.

Have always thought they would combine well.

The problem Kane had in the first leg is that he likes to play between the lines, and the way they set up at WHL with two sold banks of four playing only a few years apart, there was no space for him to do so, so he kept dropping back to get the ball (disastrously so for the second goal).

Hopefully at home with a two goal lead Benfica will be more adventurous and let us get at them a bit more.

I think that's a concern with Kane generally. Football tactics tend to go in fits and starts and at the moment most teams have got wise to the damage that can be done by a withdrawn striker like Kane and responded either by playing a defensive midfielder who can nullify the role and/or by compressing the space between defence and midfield. I don't doubt Kane's talent but arguably he'd do more damage in a traditional two up top rather than in the hole behind an out and out striker.
