Pretty decent line up.

Can't help but think that Poch will start Sanchez, which is fine, but he won't leave out Dier, which means we'll probably see Dier and Wanyama starting.

Fat Sam loves to set up a low block and frustrate, his whole career has been built on such.

And he's just seen Moyes do exactly that and more against us.

We've seen this movie several times, we know what's coming, but does Poch? Lol

I can't see Sanchez being on the bench considering he wasn't even in the 18 today, of course unless he's injured. And based on performances this season I think I'd rather Sanchez playing at CB than Dier at the moment

Hoping Rose will be fit. Sanchez definitely for Dier. Really impressed with KWP as well I’d be tempted for davies. But this is pretty much now my favourite team. But leaves bench devoid of any attacking options. Clearly shows we need at least 2 attack minded in. Oh and dembele bench.

Spot on. We all know the way this will go. Is anything going to change in a week though that means we can defeat this tactic?

Fingers crossed for a dodgy deflection already

Big Sam will obviously park the bus so this is an opportunity to try out something we haven't yet tried at home against teams who employ these tactics. Wanyama can dominate and protect allowing us to start with 5 attacking players ala Man City.

Getting Danny Rose back for this would be huge. No offense to Davies, but Rose' pace down the flanks would be important, stretching the toffee's defense & pinning back their wingbacks. The same goes for Aurier on the right hand side.
I would go with a 4-2-3-1
Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Jan Rose (Davies)
Wanyama Dembele
Eriksen Dele Sonny
Kane
subs: Vorm Dier Davies (KWP) Llorente Winks Sissoko Lamela
