The league is so uber-important especially with Christmas on the horizon. we have a squad of young players raring to play - lets give them all a chance. Not a single player who played on Sunday should start

________________________Vorm______________________

Trippier__________Fazio___________Wimmer_______Davies

_________________Mason________Carroll______________

Son____________________Pritchard____________Townsend

Pritchard? What about Lazarus?

I'd be really surprised if we didn't rotate for this one, and I hope that alot of the predicted line ups being posted are correct. We have a mixture of full internationals and youth who have waited for game time, and this seems the absolute perfect opportunity to give them a chance.

I like the idea of Dier & Dembele behind the front 4 Sunday - coupled with Lamelas surprising defensive capabilities now we'll be solid as hell I reckon
I think the reason why Dembele is playing so well is that he is given freedom in the 3 behind Kane, where he can cause havoc with his running, instead of being tied down in front of the back 4. I reckon he will stay there and Poch will will put Mason for the suspended Alli in front of the defence.
Hope we send a weakened team out there as its a hell of a trip. Not just the game time but the travelling that will drain those making it.
Vorm, Davies,Trippier, Fazio (argh), Wimmer, Alli, Townsend, Onomah,Winks, Carroll, Njie Subs - anything left that we can scape together!

Lloris
Trippier Fazio Wimmer Davies
Dier Alli
Townsend Lamela N'jie
Son

Not sure about the two in the middle of defence - but we have 'em so why not use 'em?

Kane needs a rest - but we need a win. Maybe Son could do with an extra game to get back into the swing of things after his injury. Vorm could play - but maybe keeping Lloris in sends a message that this is an important game. Same with keeping in Dier.

Because verts and toby need a rest before the chelsea game.

Not at the expense of Fazio losing us a game in Europe they don't

Resting one will be fine. they're bloddy defenders, they'll be walking around most of the match, they don't need as much rest. Personally I'd play jan and rest Toby.

I don't want to be in the situation where we lose this game and find ourselves in a very uncomfortable match against Monaco

It's a 5000 mile round trip. Fazio has won the competition and needs game time as does wimmer.

Our second string should be good enough to get something out there. What about if we play toby and he gets injured?

What if Toby chokes on a piece of apple he's eating right now? (yes, I've rigged his house up with cams)

We should not be complacent in this game. It will be no walk over.

Fazio does not need any minutes whatsoever. Wimmer most certainly does that's why I'd play him alongside someone who can actually defend, like vertonghen.

It should be a walkover. If not in january we should sell our second string and buy the qarabag team, we will probably make £60m.

Fatigue comes from the traveling, not the playing.

I hope you're right, Mr Levy.

I'd rest our key players and play most of the second string just not Fazio, the guy loses us games all by himself.

Overstated,IMO. They fly in luxury these days. In fact, a coach trip up to Newcastle is probably more tiring.

I do admit, in this instance, a 6 hour flight is quite a long flight however.
