People putting njie in their team away to Leicester...have any of you actually seen him play for at least 90 minutes

Same team as stoke except get rose back in

I think everyone is overstating the fearsomeness Leicester.

If they won two on the spin midseason no one would bat an eyelid.

We have to see out the first 15mins then impose ourselves as the better side.

If rose doesn't start I will be shocked, we just look so much better with him, Davies simply is not dynamic enough, a good player no doubt, just not the same

Nope, never, but that just highlights how much I feel we're lacking. There hasn't been much that has looked right to me, from pre season to now after 2 league games. If I was to highlight anything, maybe Mason's last performance, Walker's defending against United and Alli against Madrid in pre season, other than that not a lot else.

Our play from out wide is so poor, if putting a new player in is a step that Poch decides to go with to change things up then I'd be 100% for it. It really can't be much worse than it already is on our wings.

As long as neither Bentaleb or Lamela start I'll be happy. Neither is quite there at the moment, for whatever reason, sharpness, mentally or something else.

Well presumably we bought him to, y'know, play.

If he's not fit or Poch thinks he needs more time to settle, fair enough, but we're absolutely dying for a bit of pace and dynamism in the final 3rd. Why not give him a go? Can't be worse than Townsend or Lamela. And so what if it's away against Leicester? If anything he'll have more space to run into if we're the away team.

Aside from that I hope Trippier and Rose start and Pritchard gets a run out, even if it's just 20 mins as a sub.

I'd stick him on the bench. Could be worth a try for last 20 mins if fatigue sets in and the game gets stretched.

Is pritchard fit?

If so, I'd go with this line up:

Lloris

Tripper Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose

Dier Mason

N'Jie Dembele Pritchard/Lamela

Kane

I know the Lamela thing might be a little controversal, but I'd like him to have a few games on the bounce, but for me Eriksen hasn't done enough in the last couple of games, and I'd like to see Dembele behind Kane.

Poch never throws people in, not his style.

I read the other day that he has earmarked bringing Delle Ali etc into the fold in late September early October.

So Chadli score in the previous game and Dembele's work from the right is praised by all, but apparently we are going to drop one or both, or move them around?

Sure....

I don't want either of Dier or Mason to be in our midfield long term but with Bentaleb apparently away with the fairies and no defensive midfield option in site, I don't see many other options.

Walker hasn't done a lot wrong, but I think having two full-backs who can actually put in a cross consistently would offer us something different so I'd throw in Trippier.

Lots of options from the bench as well if it's not going well.
