All about our midfield choices in this game. City'll fall to width & quick counters, so that's Lamela on the LEFT and Lennon on the RIGHT. Why Lennon, you ask? Because Townsend has got the ball to Soldado once every 471 minutes this season.

Then we need a player in the middle making something, usually that'd be Eriksen but he's out so Sigurdsson it is. Paulinho & him together provide pressure, yes it's difficult to drop Holtby but he'll give them the run around later. Then Sandro. Because Sandro should play every fucking game.

He's the best player we have at denying space in front of our defence, and with Silva flitting about we can't possibly not start with this man on Sunday.

They play a very fluid 4-4-2, forwards will drop, Silva will drift inside from a de facto wide starting position to create numerical advantages around the pitch - if ever there was a case for us to go 4-3-3, this is the one. There will be a battle for possession which is a rarity for us, so giving us numbers in central positions is a must.

Hahahaha! We aren't going to start 4-4-2 away to Man City. That would be suicide! Redknapp isn't in charge!!

If we're losing then I could see Ade coming on to partner Soldado, it would make more sense than Defoe.

We need to stay compact for a large part of the game and then open it towards the end, if we smell blood.
