is he fit to play yet? Last time I saw Lamela, he was pictured with a medical boot around his foot
He's apparently in the last stage of his recovery, so most likely won't be on the squad today.

So that means he's out for another 6 weeks. He's apparently in the last stage of his recovery, so most likely won't be on the squad today.
Seems like a clean sweep for Reguilon at left back but is nobody concerned at his penchant for committing himself to a tackle when he should stay on his feet, that would be exploited by this lot. Would a more experienced Davies not be the sensible option?

Can't see us winning tomorrow.

Yes, I think Mourinho seems to give a more negative prognosis. This could be that he's cautious, moderating hype and expectations, messing with opponents, or some combination of these.I think that would have been the case in the past, but lately I've noticed the team is more transparent about injuries when they are not so serious. When they refuse to comment though, then we should enter into panic mode.
Call me deluded, but I really feel like Sissoko will have a good game and we have a chance of keeping a clean sheet despite everything you mentionMark my words, if we start Sissoko they will go up 1-0 first and that makes the game so much more difficult. We’ve been pressed off the pitch and second best to West Brom, Brighton, and even Burnley ffs. Do you really think our defense can keep out De Bruyne, Sterling, Jesus, etc. when they’re going to have 65% possession?
Did you just mark his words as he requested?Call me deluded, but I really feel like Sissoko will have a good game and we have a chance of keeping a clean sheet despite everything you mention
Not a far as I’m aware, but I see Tanganga as our future right back and the sooner he starts getting matches there the better given that we know the ceiling of both the others.
Based on what do you see Tanganga as our future RB.
Making Tanganga a Full Back would be a waste of what is clearly a huge talent at CB he's getting minutes at RB LB the same way that King, Judas and Carragher etc and even Dier did when they first broke through but he will be a CB. He's not creative enough to be worthwhile wasting his strength awareness and athleticism out wide.
I see him as Sanchez with composure in the long run.
Aurier played pretty well though, right?
Yes he was fantastic, as I’ve said in his own thread and the ratings thread.Aurier played pretty well though, right?
The bit where you had been championing Tanganga at right back ahead of Aurier.Yes he was fantastic, as I’ve said in his own thread and the ratings thread.
What’s that got to do with the consternation generated by the suggestion that Tanganga is a right back, not a centre back?
Was I?The bit where you had been championing Tanganga at right back ahead of Aurier.
Uh huh. I don’t really put any of our players down, for the record. Was I?
or was I championing him as right back long term and said I wanted him starting in that role as soon as possible.
You know the answer, you know that unlike you and many others on this site I can champion one player without denigrating another, and you know that I made no put down of Aurier at any point. However, i know that even all of this said, you’ll move the goalposts somehow to suit your argument because for some reason you get a hard on from it.
Seems you haven’t grown up at all from back in the day you throwing your toys out of the pram during the SCSM competitions when the girls didn’t vote for you. On that note, I bid you good day.
I said good day!
Then you’ll know that any implication that you do isn’t particularly pleasant.Uh huh. I don’t really put any of our players down, for the record.
Good job at grabbing the wrong end of the stick, guy. Then you’ll know that any implication that you do isn’t particularly pleasant.
