If Jenas' injury bugs him through the week, replace him with Huddlestone.

Pav in for Bent, he's derserved it.

Otherwise normal team.

oh please play pav harry, bent can be on the bench if they fall behind and start pushing forward so we can counter - but more likely they'll set up for the 0-0 + nicking something off set pieces (carroll seems rather good in the air) so I expect a deep defense...

i think i prefer JJ + palacios for this one, though harry might try boosting hudd's confidence by starting him again for hudd+palacios. if jj's not fit then start with hudd. back 4 the same as usual.

the barcodes have been game raisers, played well against man utd and one half against arsenal so i expect them to be up for this. absolutely awful against stoke though except for about 10 min after carroll's goal, so I have no clue about Shearer's possible tactics.

Pav must start. He is better then Bent, showed that today. He will still be fresh and full of confidence too after today.

Don't know about Hudd and Palacious in the middle together. Not enough legs on Hudd and although he did look good today, I would still prefer JJ to play. However if we find ourselves struggling to break down a poor enough Newcastle team, Hudd should come on because his passing will unlock most teams.

Other than that, no changes. Lennon looked tired(ish) today, but should be ok for next week.

COYS, lets do them this time. A good old fashioned WHL walloping will do nicely. :)

the Newcastle match is on Sunday! Bit early!

they already have an official thread on us on their forums - "roflham lolspurs vs. newcastle united" - bit rich given our respective league positions....

can't wait to relegate them

It's a shame really, I was hoping we were going to be the final nail in their inevitable coffin.

Same team as today, with the exception of Pav for Bent. Keep Hudd there to float in a few high balls too towards Pav, because Harper is Le Cack at commanding his penalty area.

yes it is too early, but if all available, let's keep things with just Pav starting instead of Bent.

if JJ isn't fit for it, i would give Modric as CM alongside Palacios and Bale on left.
