Hugo
Sanchez - Dier - Lenglet
Doherty - Bissouma - PEH - Perisic
Kulusevski - Kane - Richarlison

Would like to see starts for Lenglet, Doherty, Bissouma and Richarlison, given that we have another tough game to follow on Wednesday.

Team vs West Ham

Hugo
Sanchez - Dier - Davies
Royal - Bentancur - PEH - Perisic
Kulusevski - Kane - Son

He's not dropping Son imo.

A couple of points - he is not dropping Son - he could be starting Richarlison in place of Son - big difference.

And, second, he would not drop Son last season because he did not have a Richarlison on the bench. He barely had 11 players he trusted.

Think it would still be Kulu dropped to the bench ahead of Son from the start if Richarlison does come into the starting XI - with Son potentially playing on the right. We'll see.

I've amended the thread title from NFFC to Nottingham Forest.

Lazy bugger. Not everything has to be a fucking acronym

He's not dropping Son imo.

That's from March 2022 though, when we really had no other attacking options to bring in. We're going to see some sort of rotation for that week given we have

Nottingham Forest on Sunday
West Ham on Wednesday
Fulham on Saturday

Agree with this although Sess has to start one of those games.

I just think this is unlikely. I'm certain we'll see either PEH or Skipp, partnering either Bentancur or Bissouma. Until Skipp's fully fit, PEH will continue.

I'd start Richarlison against West Ham.

Same team that started against Wolves for me.

Sessegnon in for Perisic (keep him fresh for West Ham) and Richarlison for Son (to reward his form off of the bench).

Harsh on Royal maybe but much prefer Doherty’s crossing.

West Ham is definitely the toughest of the 3, even if they are in terrible form, as they will turn it on against us. Feel like we need Son for that one.

I suspect, to keep up Son's confidence, he will bring Rich in for Kulu against Forest. Not so good for team balance, but compared to dropping Son, it's probably the lesser of two evils. Also suspect Sess will come in for the Forest game and maybe Doherty too?

I'd also like to see Lenglet get a run out. Maybe Forest is the game for it?

I wouldn't mind seeing Son come off the bench with a point to prove. Agree about Lenglet though. We could certainly do with some decent long range passing from the back judging from the last 2 games.
