Lloris (Mcgee)
Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose
........Mason,Bentaleb,Alli
............Carroll,Pritchard
.................Kane.

All Academy/youth team not quite ready yet.
Have to give a few older pros a run out
to prevent them from stiffening up.

This should do the job. Give Trippier his debut (hopefully he'll put in a few balls for kane to get onto), drop bentaleb to the bench after his poor performance, and move Dembele in the middle where he belongs. COYS

Lloris
Trippier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Mason Dembele
Lamela Eriksen Chadli
Kane

Bench: Vorm,Wimmer,Walker,Dier,Bentaleb,Alli,Pritchard

This is a MoPo we're talking about.

Same line up as United except Mason for Dier because he's now "fit". Bentaleb won't be dropped. Maybe Lloris in too if he's fit.

Around 60 minutes Lamela comes on, around 70 Alli. Depending if we're winning or losing, we'll throw on Carroll because that's all we have left.

Yes, this is another #fucklevy post.

We need the solidity of a CDM (currently Dier) to free up Trippier and Rose and Dembele has the composure Bentaleb is lacking ATM and he is prepared to defend when necessary which would help release the front four to attack, attack and er attack.

Competition for places is a must.

Poch has to send a message to the squad that performances like Nabil's on the weekend is unacceptable.

To be fair to Poch, he took Bentaleb off just after 50 minutes. That alone tells nabil that is performance was poor.

Dropping everyone after one poor game is only cause players to lose their confidence. The kid is one of most promising players, we got a young squad , there is going to be a fair amount of mistakes this season, as well as the good times (i hope)

Not gonna waste my time with a 4-3-3 lineup that I would want because it won't happen.

But if I was Poch I would play:

Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Mason Bentaleb
Chadli Dembele Eriksen
Kane

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Dier, Alli, Carroll, Pritchard, Lamela
I have been vocal about how I hate Dembele in the attacking third, but it is the only way we look anything like a 4-3-3.

Lloris seems to be really close to fitness already, so I think he should and will start.

Walker deserves to keep his place following a really solid performance against Young, so I wouldn't replace him with Trippier yet, even though I do eventually want to.

Rose should be a welcome sight, especially for our attack. I think he makes us a lot better.

Mason-Bentaleb with Dembele dropping into midfield should be enough defensively while giving us enough in attack.

I think Chadli and Eriksen should have free roles but be nominally in these place.

Alli, Carroll, and Pritchard would be my subs for Mason/Bentaleb, Dembele, and Eriksen/Chadli.

Whatever the line up I don't think Walker should be dropped. Would send out the wrong message to the squad and he actually played very well against United, despite the OG.

It wasn't Bentaleb is was Mason. I was there.

Mason played ok/well in the first half to be fair to him, he always tries, I'd throw him in on Saturday next to Dier and drop Bentaleb who clearly isn't ready for whatever reason.

Capoue was truly awful in that game last year, I could not believe what I was seeing, it was a shambles. Kaboul wasn't far behind him. I remember thinking Capoue let Mason down terribly who was trying to do the work of 2 players. Felt the same way about the City game away as well. Once again Mason was excellent in that.

Alli's looked our best CM so far, have no problem with how old he is or how much experience he has. Should get given a game

Berahino plays for WBA mate.
