To be fair, people say we lack pace and the boy is quick. Eriksen and Alli both looking iffy right now, might as well give him a go.

I understand this sentiment because he is young and untested, but Poch is showing trust in the young man over the likes of TC and RM. It is clear to me, from the little I have admittedly seen of him, that he will put in a tackle and not shy away from the stage.

He is ready in my book and a test is a test. Give him a chance to prove himself just like every player has to do the moment they step on the pitch. No starter should take their place for granted so every match should be treated like an audition. Whether it is Portland Timbers or Stoke City a player should be given a chance especially if the player in front of them isn't performing / doesn't fit the preferred formation.

My two cents.

Edit: Formation I would like to see. Assuming all are not injured.
