Who ever we pick for the CM pairing will leave us short of necessary creativity and protection.
I'd go with this although iI may have Mason instead of BentalebPersonally i'd like to see this. But pretty sure it won't be.
Kane
Chadli Pritchard Son
Bentaleb Dier
Rose Verty Alderweireld Trippier

Oi!!!!I Shouldn't drink gin.... makes me even more pessimistic..... no wonder old ladies are miserable.
Oi!!!!
I resemble that remark
Edit: gin drinker not the old lady
Assuming eriksen, dembele, and njie are out I would go with this, probably chadli and son the other sides. The 3 behind Kane can interchange a lot with a solid base of dier and mason. Would be a good side to watch, would prefer tripier in but can't see it happening.
I expect sunderland to play quite negatively, hoof it around a bit.... so:
lloris
walker toby jan rose
dier mason
alli kane chadli
son
Poch says he's a striker, so let's check him out! we all know Kane prefers to play behind the striker like good ol' Teddy.... Eriksen in for Alli if he's fit to play, but guessing he is not fit enough to start today.
COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost! Right personnel with the exception of Rose.
I really hope Alli gets a shot to start. Preferably next to Dier in a more central/box-to-box role. I'd also prefer to see Pritchard behind Kane as he has that ability to play quick, accurate passes which will be necessary against what likely will be a defense sitting deep. I'm a bit over the Mason starting in the 10 trend. He's so great at getting into scoring positions but for whatever reason has lost all ability to finish.
team I wanted to see but nit the performance. Worst performance of the season yet yielded the most points.Think we'll see that team, though I'd prefer to see Alli given a start. Drop Mason back and play Alli behind Kane if Eriksen isnt fit. However, i'd imagine its much more likely Alli will have to wait until our Europa League & League Cup games in the next couple of weeks to get his first starts. Same could be said of Son but given how poorly we have been represented at RWF this season i can see Son being thrustest straight into the action.
Really looking forward to tomorrows game. I think we've played fairly well this season, could easily have had 10 points, and its only a matter of time before we start converting our chances and winning games.
