Can't believe some of the suggested lineups I'm seeing. We play the strongest team possible.

This is now a massive competition (along with the FA Cup), for us. We simply have to start winning domestic trophies.

If all the club can muster are a few top four finishes, you have to start questioning our ambition.

Did the rules not change in the summer so suspensions apply to the competition they’re received in? ie, he misses the next 3 prem games
The division is domestic/European so a red card shown in any domestic competition counts in all domestic competitions, I am not aware of any change to that in the rules.
As for the basis of our team for this game I'd look no further than Monday night's bench: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Walker-Peters, Winks, Eriksen, Alli and Son is a pretty sound foundation to start with. I'd also expect to see Foyth in there as well along with one of Monday's two CB's substituted by the other as and when it becomes necessary and, as he went off half way through the second half I'd expect to see Dier too. That just leaves one place up for grabs, do we go for Harry Kane or Llorente perhaps?
That is a strong side and pretty much a fresh side, certainly good enough to beat West Ham.

While it doesn't look good at CL, wouldn't throw towel untill it's definately over. If we win next and Inter loses against Barca at least it's still in our own hands.

that would depend on whether PSV would be that bothered in their final game v Inter, as they would be out. we will need to beat PSV, beat Inter by 1-0 or 2 clear goals, and hope Barca can't be bother when we play them (don't expect that)

Do you not understand we have an insane number of games in a short space of time, and have a majority of the squad who had an overworked summer, no pre-season, and are all getting muscle injuries. We have to use the squad.

But what is our ambition top four qualification maybe that's about our limit under the control in which the club works under.

Have to play our strongest available team now that we've effectively eliminated ourselves from the CL knockout stages. No excuses.
We have Wolves on Saturday and other players need minutes. The players who are tired should be rested. Lamela, Moura, Winks etc should play as they should be fresh. Alli KWP Foyth and Llorente should also be given minutes.

I have an idea Sterling is injured, which is a shame as I'd also like to see him promoted to the squad as Kane's back up.

Liking Aurier at left back allowing KWP to come in and develop on his proper side. (y)

I guess we'll find out tomorrow night. Anything other than our strongest possible eleven, and I guess the Cup doesn't matter.

This game is more important than the Wolves game, IMO. Now that we're as good as out of the CL knockout stages, I don't want to see us treat any of the domestic cup competitions lightly.

True but I don't expect a full strength side probably be a mixed bag of players and performance probably although I would like to win it as let's face it there is fuck all else to win, although I might get a bit nervous if we get to the semi-final as the club struggles with them.

There are loads left on general sale apparently, i was offered one in the home end for £15. Politely declined. I'd be itching and scratching all game.

I'd stick Son up front, seem to remember he was banging the goals in after Kane's injury. Nothing better than beating this lot, AND a place in the next round.
