Would make sense with Fredericks considering our injuries and perhaps need for Naughton on the left (Fryers in the middle?). Not our most talented young right back, but he's older and more experienced than the other options.

Makes sense to call up Frederiks if the plan is to rest Walker, but still a risk to play Naughton if Vertonghen is out and Rose is just coming back as he would be the 3rd and last choice 3 possible LB's - Fryers just to raw to play against Liverpool.

With the injury situation, Kevin Stewart should be the next young defender to be called up I imagine (providing he's fot !)

We shouldn't as we are already top of the group and don't need to win, so we should use the opportunity to give a game to the squad players trying to break into the first team, who need game time, and some youngsters, to learn from the experienced players, give them experience and see what they are capable of.

I would say the same it this was a champions league game and we were in the same situation.

Good question, Holtby, maybe Chadli as he has played there for Belgium, i suppose with Dembele's hip he needs a rest before the weekend, Paulinho looks pretty wiped out too, maybe play another youngster in Defence and have a middle 3 of Chadli Capoue Holtby.

That could work, but I think Holby & Chandli will start Vs Liverpool, so I would rest them. Is Kane still injured? The injuries in defence really are screwing us at the moment. It would be huge if Kaboul was fit for this game and either Chiriches or Verts for Liverpool.

Was thinking exactly the same. Perfect opportunity for AVB to test his 'plan B'.
