I think Wanyama and Toby will play. Carroll will play the Alli role. GKN, CCV and Janssen will start, and mini Messi will be on the bench.

Vorm
Trippier, CCV, Wimmer, Davies
Winks, Wanyama
Sissoko, Eriksen, Nkoudou
Janssen

Subs: Pau, Toby, KYP, Son, Lamela, Onomah, Edwards

agreed. i think this is pretty much the team we will see although i think carroll will come in for someone. Onomah to get a little bit more time than he normally does and Edwards might get the last 10

Want to see N'Koudou start tonight but not sure if we will, would like to think he'll at least be on the bench. Be good to see if Wimmer is included in squad also bit of a mystery surrounding his absence.

In the summer my mate gave me odds of 1000/1 on edwards being young player of the year - tenner bet

He took the bet because he never even heard of edwards

If he plays tomorrow and has a blinder next stop will be spurs bench for league games and then who knows..

Your mate will not pay up, even if you win the bet.

Vorm, Trippier, Davies, CCV, Alderwerield, Wink, Wanyama, Lamela, Eriksen, GKN and Janssen.

I'm looking forward to see how CCV and Winks do. I have high hopes for CCV as he has done well every level he's played at.

I would love to see Onomah come on and play in a deeper role with either Winks or Wanyama.

I would love Onomah to start in the deep role but I don't think Poch would risk starting two inexperienced players together.

I'm not sure if GKN is ready but from Fridays conference Poch was coy in answering whether GKN was ready to play. He said he was definitely not ready for Sunderland but didn't say he wasn't ready for Gillingham.

If the game goes well, I hope Edwards gets a run out and shows us what the hype is about. Watching him play preseason and U23 games he looks very good but playing a 1st team competitive game is a different ball game.

Not really much mystery. Poch said Wimmer is a bit behind in his fitness and that CCV is training better.
