I know Jose said he would not rotate massively again after went lost in Antwerp, but I think we should as most our players played a lot in the international break and we have a tough run of games coming up.

Hart
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Davies
Winks Lo Celso
Bale Dele Moura
Vinicius

Subs: Lloris, Aurier, Reguilón, Højbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Son, Kane
In CB emergencies Davies can play CB and Reguilón come on at LB.

He's not considered to be homegrown so would of been difficult to get him into the squad anyway.

Why? He came through the Swansea ranks, so surely homegrown?

I think Thurs team will be interesting because it's a game we need to win & the last time he made wholesale changes (RA away) we were turgid, but with Chelski coming up we do need to rest as many as possible, whilst keep the attitude right.

Winks needs someone like Hojbjerg or Sissoko alongside him to be effective & for me Winks & Lo Celso would be too weak.

Uefa don't recognise him as homegrown.

Despite being England and Wales internationals respectively, Dier and Davies are considered to be non-locally trained by UEFA rules because of their academy years in different countries to Tottenham's national association - Portugal and Wales.

Dier I can understand because he was basically brought up within the coaching set up of Portugal, but I don't understand Rodon or Davies if that's true.

Because Uefa deem the English and Welsh FA as two different associations.

Was waiting for someone to post this team, seems the obvious one to me, put some kids like White on the bench as well.

Sunday is huge, ideally we don't want any starters playing too many minutes in this one against what is the weakest team in our group.

HG or not, it would have been good to blood him against lesser opposition and get up his confidence and chemistry with the team.

I thought the problem with Rodon was that he was signed too late as the team was already registered for the group phase.

According to Ally Gold spurs were happy to sign him after the deadline because of the fact he would not be considered homegrown.

These 5 should be wrapped in cotton wool for Sunday,

Dier, Tanguy, PEH, Son, Kane. Sit on the bench for 90 minutes and relax. Read a magazine or play a board game together, occasionally glancing at the match to check the score.

Will Lamela be back? Be good to get some minutes against farmers

Hart
Doc* Sanchez Davies Cirkin
Winks Gio
Bale Dele Stevie
Vinnie
Doc not available then Tanganga.

Would love to see Cirkin start but I think Jose will name a familiar 11 and then sub in the likes of Clark and Cirkin if the game is pretty much won. I do think that we'll absolutely hammer Ludogorets as many players who didn't feature against city, will want to show Jose what they can offer.

* Aurier and Dele to come in if these players aren’t quite fit/ Covid negative enough.

Did you mean to name 12 players?

------------------------Hart-----------------
Aurier---Tanganga---Dier---Davies
-----------Lo Celso-Hojbjerg----------
----Bale---------Ndombele------Lucas
----------------------Vinicius---------------

Subs
Lloris, Reguilon, Sanchez, Cirkin, Sissoko, Dele, White, Kane, Son, Clarke, Bergwijn, Lamela

Get the job done early and then save Hojbjerg, Tanguy and Gio.

But I really like to see this three on the pitch together and provide good balls for the front three.

* if Winks is fit enough to start he should probably do that for one of the three
We cannot risk Dier or Hojbjerg in this game, for fear of injury.I know it seems strange to play Sanchez ( who needs leadership alongside him) alongside Tanganga ( lack of experience and been out for a while) but we cannot play Dier.

Don't think it'll happen, but I really hope everybody who started against city bar bergwijn are all rotated. Chelsea are in great form and need our full attention.

This has to be a game to risk it. In-between city and Chelsea and home to ludogrets. I would rest every first team player.

Hart
Tanganga. Sanchez. Davies. Cirkin
Winks. Lo celso. Dele.
Lucas. Vinicius. Bergwijn

I am presuming lamela and Doherty are out. I am also resting bale, so he can play the 90 against Chelsea. If things are going well, rest lo celso in the second half.

Infact, I might even play white instead of lo celso.
