Are you Ossie Ardilles?
Dont tell anyone..! Yes.
They will set up to park the bus in the first half, blow them out the water in the first half then when we are 2 nil up swap it a little. How many times do we play a holding def mid player and get 1 maybe 2 shots at us because they park the bus, then with 20 mins to go everyone starts saying to get someone on for said def midfield player. Just a thought. Whats the woorst that can happen?? Dr. Pepper.......

We need to watch Frimpong if he plays. Gooner and he is a bit of a hothead, wouldn't surprise me if he set out to break Bale.

It's up to 10 now, so hes still on 4, but needs 10 for the suspension.

That works out better than, cos that means he needs another 6 to get a suspension, whereas if it was reset he would just need 5.

I'd be tempted to play Parker if fit. There midfield will be hard in the tackle and would be good to have him in there to balance it up. Otherwise same ad last night.

I think Defoe may start ahead of VdV in order to preserve VdV's hamstrings for the Man City game.

That's what I'd be tempted to do anyway.

Agreed, plus as it stands it could be Defoe up top with VdV against City so give Defoe as much gametime as we can against Wolves, get him in the mood!

I think same team as against Everton but drop VdV for Defoe, I don't think Wolves will cope with us, they couldn't when we played them away.

Why would you drop one of our most important players, by the same logic should we drop Benny for Rose.?

Same team as last night. But we should aim to give Defoe a decent run out at some point in the second half, given he'll most likely be leading the line against Shitty...

I wouldn't drop VDV, but it's hardly the same. Defoe has scored when called upon this season and if you're looking to pay 4-4-2 it's the best option.

As I say though, I'd keep VDV, he was immense against Everton. He seems to be playing with much more discipline these days. It's not all about him and him grabbing the goals, he's almost Modric-like in the way he's going about his business, making us tick all over the park.

Has Rose performed just as well as Benny this season? Also how is it by same logic? Are you suggesting Benny is unavailable for the Man City game and we are forced to play Rose?

Would we be more confident going into City with a full fit VdV and Parker. Yes, especially if we have no lone striker in by then.

I don't like rotating but I feel Defoe will need a game under his belt before going to City if we are expecting him to lead the line.

You play your best side. No point resting someone for City If we don't beat Wolves at home

If he's fit Parker starts. You can take him off when and If the game is won

Disagree with this. Purely because of the way we dominated and comfortably beat Everton with a Livermore/Modric partnership.

The risk/reward ratio for the two fixtures is compltely different.

Its a small risk to play Livermore and Modric at home against Wolves, but a huge risk to not have Parker against City.

Also if Parker played against Wolves and got a yellow, then played the next five and got a yellow in each he would miss Man United! Assuming he doesn't play in any F.A Cup games:razz:/Planning ahead

If Parker is fit he plays
He gets over a weeks rest before City

It's an entirely different question and maybe answer If you ask, Scott Parker can only play at home to wolves or away to city?

No reason whatsoever If he's fit to face Wolves then he'll be fine for City too
