So what team will you cheer for? And why?

I go for Russia I think.....that Arshavin will be a pleasure to watch...or maybe Poland with Rasiak up front..:)

The big question is will Euro 2008 be as good as the recent Copa America which was a joy to watch.

In the absence of England I'm going to fall back on my rather tenuous Dutch ancestry... It'll be just like supporting England though, as they'll have expectations of making a significant challenge that will ultimately end in failure...

Ironically I'll probably be supporting Portugal the most, after hating them the most in last World Cup.

Me and my mate (Man Utd fan) both supported South Korea after England in the last World Cup because of Lee Young-Pyo and Park Ji-Sung respectively. I even had a South Korea shirt with YOUNGPYO 12 on it, but it's too big for me now. :(

Thank god my mum was born in Hanover. I've got my German roots to fall back on.

Next summer I will be singing Deutschland, Deutschland über...errr...I best brush up on the German national anthem. :-?

I'm currently living in Leeds, but i'm from Palmers Green which is in North London, which has a huge Greek and Turkish community. I'll probably join the crowd, a few of my mates are greek so i think i'll support Turkey. Mind you when Italy won the Wolrd cup, green lane went crazy(but that was mostly greeks pretending to be italian).
