I could see Benitez wanting Paulinho.

I sure fuckin hope so. Hoping either Napoli or Roma ,if they sell Strootman, will come in with intent to buy instead of these loan back to Brazil rumors that would mean nothing other than freed up wages.

Higuain is bang average, fat and slow and 100% NOT what we need, he would also cost a fortune in fees and wages. No thanks.

There's this trippy new concept goin round these days called "alternatives" man. Fuckin wild.
Just saying a classy striker is 100% not what we need when we are clearly lacking upfront?

The guy scores goals. He's scored goals his whole career. He knows how to handle pressure having so much experience with Madrid.

I'm just fuckin with ya, I agree we've got to move one of Soldado or Ade out for an improvement.

However, what I don't want is just another goalscorer, however classy he is. What we need is pace and unpredictability, not another player who relies on service. Kane has made his claim for his time, so we need an alternative to him who can offer something very different.

Maybe something to give this story a bit of credence.

Higuain was discovered as an 18 year old by Baldini. It was Baldini who first brought him over to Europe.

Why would his club let him go if he is doing so well ? After all strikers who regularly score goals are the most precious commodity in football.

And cost Argentina the World Cup with his performance in the final. Had Aguero been fit and played Argentina would be champions. He didn't handle pressure in that game and will go to his grave never forgetting that miss in the final.

And while we're on it..... I think I'd score goals for Real Madrid. Even Benzema scores tons for them.

As you can see I'm not a fan. It's all moot anyway had he want over £100k a week and well out of our price range.
