It's been mentioned here but I have to mention it again - the outside of the left pass out to Corluka!!!

I nearly love juiced my pants!

I know it was only on the halfway line/didn't result in a goal - but the technique to do that under a bit of pressure was just top drawer!

He had a really good game last night, fair play. It will now be interesting to see how he does when we compete against Europe's Elite. I fancy he'll be one of our star players cos he (might) get more time on the ball at a less frantic pace in Europe. If Hudd's given time on the ball to pick a pass we could be laughing!

Check my past posts, I am not a fan of Thudd's

... or at least I wasn't. Over the last dozen or so games, he has become the player I never thought he could be.

I was wrong so, Tom, take a bow.

He has grown up so much in the last year, am loving watching his development.

He is never going to truly use his size and crunch into tackles though, he's just not like that. He is improving his ability to nick the ball away from opponents tough.

The phrase "stroking the ball around" has never been more applicable - it was coined for the Hudd.

The Charlie pass really made me smile and feel warm and fuzzy - amazing.

The boys got amazing tekkers, and can pull off some stunning pieces of skill, like that clipped left footed pass but I still think he needs to do more over the whole 90 minutes of games, to really stamp down his authority and use his talent not just in little moments. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy and he has definitely taken a step up since Harry has played him consistently week in week out but as he matures he needs to run games, he needs to score more and assist more, and let us remember him each game not for one or 2 wonderful raking crossfield passes. I think his best 2 games for us were the Man City game early on in his career and the Chelsea game last season - he ran the show and the game was in the palm of his hand, I'd love for him to make it the norm.

More than a worthy member of our team now though, I suppose I have been guilty of being a little critical of him but that's maybe because I see an even better player there to come, but for all my nitpicking he was ever present in CM for our best season since I started supporting Spurs, so I can't really complain.

I guess it shows how rosy things are at Spurs when you're trying to find faults with players like Hudd.

The way he played himself out of trouble a number of times rather than hoof the ball was pretty damm good last night. He looks composed on the ball a lot more than he used to. If he improves even more he will have to be an England regular.

If England are in such a dire state that 35 year old Paul Scholes is an option for a comeback then surely The Hudd is in with a shout of a regular England position?!

I genuinely think he ought to be in the squad at least.

Lampard, Barry, Gerrard - who else, really?!

Scott Parker? FUCK OFF!!!
Michael Carrick? Don't think so now.
Jack Wilshire? Possibly for the future.

Jack Rodwell is a decent shout, I think he's quite a prospect.

Anyone knows the exact time when he made that pass? want to make a gif

Hudd has really matured into an amazing player the last season, and honestly he can only get better with every game passing. Maybe even the time that we made it into the champions league is perfect for him to develop even more now. Would it have been 2 or 3 seasons ago that we made it, he might have been replaced by some big money midfielder as he wasnt anywhere near his ability now. And now he can get even more experience by playing against europes top midfielders
