Fantastic to see Fred Couples knock back the years and lead the field after the first day.

Westwood, Poulter and Lyle also had great first days as well, but Woods took the lime lite (unfortunately) with some great shots after a few months out

Why unfortunately? It's great he's back imo, looked like he'd never been away.

Coverage becomes one sided when he plays. I dont have a problem that he is back, just that i perfected the coverage when he hasn't played as you get to see more of the field.

I know what you mean but he's out early today, so we won't see that much of him this evening on BBC2.

Great to see the old timers do well.

The game needed the great man back, and it's good to see him right up there in his first tournament back. It's always going to be more exciting when he's playing well.

I hope Westwood wins. He should have won one by now. As long as he can putt well he should have a great chance to win it.

Poulter goes 2 under for today to take a share of the lead with Couples and Barnes

Two Englishmen at front of field tomorrow then. Hopefully they stay there.

I'd like to see Westwood win it, he's long overdue a major.

Watching the coverage last night when they interviewed Simon Dyson, it turns out he's got Spurs connections - his uncle Terry played in our double winning side of the 60's, didn't cop till it was said yesterday. So will be shouting him on in future too!

Westwood with a 3 shot lead over Poulter

Woods and Mickelson still about. Woods went through a bad few holes dropping 3 shots over 4 of them

Mahan dragging him self into the chase as well now 4 under today (-6 overall) and good to see Couples still up there

Final day, basically a coin toss for who wins it from here.
Although I do fancy Mickelson to edge it , just by the way he's
owned the par-5s over the last 3 days.

There was an article in the paper the other day about the par 5s in Augusta, and whoever has won it, has pretty much won it because they've played the par 5s well. He's 9 under for the par5s so far this week. I think he'll win it too. But I'll be cheering for Woods and Westwood.

Westwood had retaken the lead. A leaf just blew is as Mickelson was putting and knocked the ball off it's lie.

Woods isn't playing well.
