Talk of it opening up for the new season on the grapevine via a regular and one of the barmaids

Ha ha ha ha SS57 is back with a vengeance! Nice

Been back a week or so, mate, and managed to get myself blocked from the ITK Discussion thread already! Now I've got some clueless no-mark 'disagreeing' with my response to Kendall. On what grounds, I have no idea. What can you do?

Anyway, no-one I've asked really seems to know what's going down with the B&H. It might be re-opening, it might not. If it's gone for good, it's a crying shame, but a sign of the times.

It's a known fact that Tottenham is a shit hole, so that is why he hit the disagree rating.

It's got one of the most historical and famous teams in football. Just think of how many football clubs at every level exist on the planet, and where Spurs feature in that list of many thousands. For a start we're one of the three most famous teams in London. That fact alone means that Tottenham has a lot more going for it than most places.

Plus it's a community. It has its bad points, but there are plenty of people who live there that do what they can to make it a better place.

Say it needs investment, or that it is a poorer area of london, but calling it a shit hole is disrespectful of the people living there. Some of whom post on here.

It's not a slight on the residents. It's not their fault they live in a shit hole. I don't like that phrase, though, it suggests it's irredeemably bad but there's a lot of good things about the area

Flower it up how you want but it is a shithole. Which is why it is it being backed for regeneration.

Great football club mind.

My oh my, Kendall, when you put your mind to it (well, to be precise, when you do quite the opposite—to wit, switch off your brain) you're hard to beat when it comes to spouting ill-informed bollocks.

And doesn't someone get mighty hoity-toity should it be suggested the inhabitants of Leeds subsist on a diet of coke and dripping?

In 2011 Metropolitan Police had to tackle 141 gun crime offences in the area.

Not quite every other night, but not far off. And that's just the ones documented.

I know youre protective of Tottenham, but you cannot argue with facts. The place is renowned for gun crime.

I think most of those offences were due to opposition supporters reporting Keano's pistol celebrations...

Including pumping a bloke full of lead themselves, but let's draw a discreet veil over that.

Funny thing, Kendall, I've lived in Tottenham for the best part of 40 years, and bullets, flying or otherwise, have not formed part of my daily experience; neither have muggings or assaults. So, yes, I can argue with your 'facts', or rather the entirely erroneous conclusion you draw from them; indeed, I can call them (or it) bollocks.

So because you've been OK, bullets flying don't affect the area? OK.

You are close to the place you call home and I respect that. But there are good people and a community in Harehills and Chapeltown but I'm not gonna sit here tell you they're not dangerous shitholes and businesses haven't suffered as a result.
