The betting also said Harry was going to be the next manager sacked....

According to that Chelsea are evens to sign Parker. So I wouldn't look too far in to it.

Didn't read through all the posts, just skimmed them. But what's this? Redknapp sacked and Joey Barton in as new manager? Class. Black and Blue.

Am I alone in thinking that I'd be quite happy with Barton?

That was my thought. He's a winner, if nothing else. And fortunately, he is something else - quite a decent footballer, too.

I'd have him probably in place of both Jenas and Huddlestone.

Watch this, how many players in our squad or many other squads would of taken this?

He's a complete b****** but if he plays like he did last season and signs for us I would LOVE him in a NLD.

I too would enjoy the 17 minutes that he would play of that match before being given 2 red cards, 4 yellow cards, a newly created black flaming card and a 'Congratulations: It's A Girl' Card.

But yeah, he would add steel like Sheffield used to.

He's a very good footballer, and I believe he'd be an upgrade on Palacios, Jenas and Livermore but to call him a winner when his only honours are the 09/10 Championship and the Teresa Herrera trophy, that seems a bit of a stretch.

 Joey Barton a winner? I dont think anyone, including himself would call him a winner. A criminal record, a recovering alcoholic, time in prison, problems with his club teams and at international level and only 1 medal in his cabinet as a pro (championship winners) - not really what i would call a winner. That said id still take him!!

He isnt shit, he is a twat! but not shit... he just isnt as good as Sandro and for that we dont need him, and cant see him being happy sitting on the bench for most the season.

Is he? What exactly has he won?

If you substitute the words 'gormless thug' for the word 'winner' it makes more sense.
