Did anybody notice how low the camera angle was on last nights game, im sure when watching MOTD etc it is normally much higher. It looked ace in HD but cos of the change of angle it just did not look like the Lane. I think i preferred it though

I havent liked it on the occasions it has been used this season, maybe because I am so used to the higher up angle usually used at WHL.

To me just another gripe to add to the list of ITV's abysmal football coverage.

Yeah, there were lots of comments flying around Twitter about it. My favourite: "If this camera angle had been selected on FIFA/PES, it would be my first excuse for losing"

You all know why though right?

It's to do with the advertising boards. You get more in and are clearer at a lower straight on angle like that. Money talks.

Horrible angle, I noticed straight away.

Didn't look like White Hart Lane!

Yep that's exactly the reason.

I hate it, drives me nuts, reminds me of the old Highbury camera angle :bang:

ITV making a bollocks of it again.

Will they have a similar angle at Wembley for the FA Cup?

ITV's coverage of Sport in general is crap, so many ad breaks and hopeless commentaters.

it is a travesty that they repeatedly fail to try to improve their coverage.

they have the worst pundits, presenters and commentators. they have so many ads and it annoys me that they skip the champions league intro when they play the music.

i also started watching the coverage yesterday just before they went for the ads break before the actual match coverage. it took about 10 minutes into the match to be told the teams. Sky give the teams as the players take positions on the pitch. it is small things like that which make a big difference.

There were lots of complaints but the angle really didn't bother me at all.

I was just pleased not to have to find a decent stream on-line.

That angle combined with Jim bloody Beglin was almost too much for me. And then Chiles, fecking Fatty Chiles...

Yep. All those factors pissed me off. Plus it would have been nice if we got to see a bit more of the send-off for the players after the game finished.

Sport and ITV just don't work. Thank god Formula 1 is back on the BBC.

Not a fan of the camera angle at all. Doesn't feel like White Hart Lane :-(

I can't believe it is because of any other reason, other than choice. If it were for some advertising reason or because of the CL livery then Sky would have to do the same thing, surely?

I hated the camera angle, you couldn't see enough of the pitch.

Sums it up really, we go out of the CL quarter final stage in our debut season and the biggest gripe is the camera angle  love it!

Can i moan that the CL coverage never read out the benches, that really annoys me...

Love it, love it, love it how far off 3rd are we?

Remember when they missed the Everton winner against Liverpool in the Cup a couple of years back as they went to an Ad break?!!

And of course Englands goal v USA in the World Cup.

Should never be allowed to show football again after these cock ups

Yep. Both monumental errors. The England goal was probably the high point of our World Cup as well.
