Time for Buttler to smash a quick hundred. (By posting this I in no way take responsibility for him getting out for 10.)

I think the Indian batsmen should be ashamed of themselves. With the weather coming in today it might have been enough just to survive the last session, and instead they lost 9 wickets. Moeen Ali is getting better, but he's not Murali or Warne.

Jadeja dancing down the wicket second ball to Anderson was mind-bogglingly irresponsible, even if he did get away with it.

No-one seemed to value their wicket highly enough and they deserved the crushing defeat they got.

Allied with some good bowling and some distinctly indifferent batting again.

Aye, I think though the Indians have always had this in them, there's a reason they went eleventeen years without winning a test away from home.

If we prepare pitches like this for the Ashes next year then Tests could be won with a highest innings score of 250 which would be great to watch.

But then the ECB wouldn't get their 5 days revenue ;)

Nah, totally agree with you. Flat pitches make for dull Test cricket.

As for India, 9 down now. Feel really sorry for Dhoni and have done for some time captaining this team. I'm surprised he hasn't gone completely grey by now.

The ECB don't get it mate...the grounds/counties do, so you cant really blame them for wanting the game to go the distance, they have to pay a shit load for the privilege.

It's a weird one, sometimes I think Dhoni lacks a bit of respect from his players, he seems to be the one always holding the fort while they bat like chumps at the other end. Yet again there has been some very ordinary shots in this innings.

We have a very terrible set of test batsmen so that's unlikely.

Enjoying this performance from England. Would like to see Robson get a decent score here, but he's looked...rather dodgy at times!
