Can you really expect any other reaction when you wade into a cricket fan's thread, declaring it a horribly unpopular sport that's going nowhere?
Am I wrong?

From what I've heard, it can't compete with DARTS! I've only raised this for discussion because during last years Ashes series when I was listening to BBC commentary online, one of them mentioned that darts was more popular than cricket. Could that have been based on some sort of social study do you think, or was he just pulling something out of his arse?It won't be able to compete with football
With all due respect Bear......We are not Hillbillies!!Don't you bollocks me you don't even live in the fucking country. We don't have an 'outback' where people barely have electricity or only sleep with members of their own family, everybody knows about the fucking Internet.
This is the cricket thread, keep it thay way.
Biggest mistake you guys ever made. He still looks soo good over here in the big bash!I'd Kevin Keegan it if he told them to fuck off.
I'm off to stick money on KP playing for England again now.
@Mustard @Spurs_Bear, I'm wondering why you're under the impression that Sky have their own commentary for AUS v IND.I have been told otherwise. Lol, Can't you tell by the Aussie accents and total lack of any familiar voice?

Yeah believe it or not Sky are taking the feed from Channel Nine. It just means you get commentary silence after every over and batsman change due to us having commercial breaks; something which I thought may have led to sky using their own but that would be slightly tricky with the time difference and would mean working through the night. And Im curious why you doubted that this was the case. have you heard our commentators before and think that sky might find them biased? They probably are actually, certainly when compared to their English counterparts. What are you talking about now? I would be very surprised if the Sky Commentary is the same as what it is on Channel 7/9 or whatever it is being shown on in Oz.
And being a cricket fan all voices are pretty familiar on commentary, we have Michael Holding over here and he's a West Indian with a different accent, probably confuses you. As does life.

Yes I've heard your commentators, they are highly entertaining. Couldn't care less if they are biased or not. Sky are also showing WI v SA and NZ v SL, I'm not sure who is commentating on them either.
I'm not surprised they are taking the TV feed from Channel 9, but I am surprised they are are just using the same commentary team, Mark Nicholas is out there I would presume and I know he does a dual role for both Oz TV and Sky out there. I'm still not convinced but without Sky TV in my house currently due to moving in 3 days ago I can't really check for myself.
I don't mean the studio stuff, I mean the live in game commentary. It's introduced and presented by Charles Colville. They have a studio on through the night.
Chris is just bewildered.
LOL, what? Dont you think test cricket is a litle bit different to 20/20?Biggest mistake you guys ever made. He still looks soo good over here in the big bash!

Mustard mate, a serious question; do you spend the majority of your time in an intoxicated state?I'm not talking about Russ Abbott or even Les Dennis ffs.

I find the easiest and most cathartic way of answering your borderline spectrum questions is in the absurd.
The grumbleweeds and Baron Knights will help you on this.
He is still a very high quality player. i guess the "disruptions" has put paid to his career.LOL, what? Dont you think test cricket is a litle bit different to 20/20?
