Think it all hinges on Pant, second ball after lunch down the track! If he can stay in it’ll definitely be a draw, if not I can see NZfinishing India off before tea

Even if Pant goes quite early India still have 1 or 2 that can hang around and when it comes to New Zealand batting Kholi can make it an extremely tedious exercise for them to try and get the runs

Leg side bowling, even slower over rate, 7 men on the boundary etc etc!!

New Zealand barely scored at 2 an over in the 1st innings anyway!

Brilliant from NZ. They have the slight advantage of having played more cricket recently but Williamson is a phenomenal captain and their bowling unit is top drawer.

Great test match from two great teams.
It will be interesting to see how our boys do against this India side in the 5 tests

Well that was pretty emphatic, don’t like that new kit but at least it’s not as bad as Sri Lanka’s!

It's wild to see Southee on this most 6s list ahead of many regular batsmen such as Ponting, Lloyd, Tendulkar, etc.

That’s what I love about cricket though, the wacky stats!
Less games than Beefy and AB as a specialist bowler, not looked upon as an all rounder and he’s a proper gun in that bottom order!
Big shout out to Cairns though as I loved watching that guy bat!

Some great names on that list. Clive Lloyd with that floppy hat and Carl Hooper, could watch him bat all day. Poetry in willow

Absolutely loved Carl Hooper, too young for Clive Lloyd. Also had a real soft spot for Keith Arthurton as well, just loved watching all the West Indian batsmen not even interested in wearing lids.

Was surprised Buttler wasn’t on that list but having just done a bit of research he’s only hit 33!

In how many games? I guess it’s his style, has that trademark bottom hand flick that keeps the ball down but absolutely races to the boundary. Must have a serious amount of 4's!

50 tests, 317 4’s!
ODI & T20 stats are quite literally a different ball game though!
ODI
323 125

T20
152 75

I guess Buttler needed a rest from todays game after his hectic recent schedule.

edit: injured ?
