Can someone confim/correct me on this please

Maybe he's waiting on a win bonus to get his haircut?

He went down injured yesterday and my mate asked if he'd moved after going down. I looked over and saw him fixing his fringe while lying down and said, 'yeah, he's ok' :)

Rather have Christian Bale at the moment. The kid doesn't look as strong as last season. He will improve though.

Good free kick yesterday, very unlucky.

How many league games we managed to win WITHOUT him in 2008 then ?

I'm surprised with some fans, first calling for Huddlestone, then talking about Bale as he was the blame for our poor of form, I think he & Gomes were our best players since the start of the season even if they were unconvicing for 2 or 3 halfs.

this fact about Bale isn't important for me, Bale was good in 1st half, was tired in 2nd half but made two good FKs, The problem is our strikers. Do you know how many league goals we scored ? and how we scored against Boro, Chelsea & Villa ?!

I think this thread is based more in superstition than to question Bale's actual qualities.

Stats are pointless though, eg in Ledley King's 6 league games in the last two seasons we've conceeded 14, w2 d2 l2. So we can go anywhere with this, fact is, since the carling cup win we've been absolutely shite. Manager failing to give us a winning mentality.

Yep, it's all Bale's fault

After all, he made the dodgy substitutions when 3-1 up away at Fulham last year.

He was the on that told JD to miss the penalty in the last minute against Wet Spam.

And told Robbo to chuck the ball in the net against Villa.

All joking aside, he is a jinx. Cut his hair off, that'll fix it.

And once more you've failed to understand what pops is saying. He's saying it's unusual, it's an unexplainable thing that we havent' won with Bale in the side. He's not blaming Bale for that fact, just commenting that coincidentally, whenever Bale has played we haven't won.

Bale has been one of our best perfomers this season, he's been a small ray of light in a very dark tunnel along with Gomes and Lennon (mostly).
