Akqayid has confirmed to me that the 'BM' was a typo on his part. I asked him to elaborate on the initials and the volley and he declined the opportunity to do so. Given that he was willing to go as far as 'BM' and that he has since passed up the opportunity to correct the typo, all we have to go on is a player that scored a volley.

That being the case, the guessing can stop now please. This thread is not going to be allowed to run to 30 pages of guesses based on a 'volley' it could literally be anyone. There's been plenty of other ITK to chew on this morning so please start chewing, if it carries on then i'll lock this bad boy until we get some more ITK. And it saddens me that when we do get some, it'll probably be ignored so you can continue to throw names of people who scored volleys into the hat. Glenn fucking Hoddle.

My only problem with that is that Akqayid has mentioned this BM player at least once already. It very much sounded that in his latest ITK his was referring to his previous mentions. Were his previous mentions typos as well, or has he just got the whole BM thing completely wrong?

Was very interesting that JJ confirmed that we are likely to have a large war chest.

Due to "BM" being a tpyo. As the "H" key is very close to the "B" key, with none of the other letters making any sense. I assume he meant "HM" as in Hoffenheim. So the player in question is Sigurdsson.

I don't think there's anything out of the ordinary of some layoffs around the club given the regime change. 40 would be a lot, but if that number is on the high side and it's really only like 10, I don't think it's too exciting. We just need to hope JJ, POTL, and a few other of the ITK's have survived the cull.

I couldn't understand earlier why people were wasting time trying to guess a player when by far the most interesting info coming from Akqayid and JJ relates to the potential change in ownership or the role/input of Joe Lewis. I find the 80m thing a bit hard to believe because it's unlikely this figure would ever be allowed to leak as Levy is too shrewd.

But the whole structure/nature of how we are owned could be far more monumental than any single player trade.

It's the most important but it's not exactly as exciting as a new player to speculate on for the masses. On COYS there's a 90 page thread lasting months and months about the NDP, one thread about Vertonghen is 192 pages. Players take the focus of the fans.
