Some extra info courtesy of WorthATry;

Little more from Dragon:

“That’s how I feel the biggest problem is we have thus far only had one bid which was 95 million plus add ons coming to 100 or players who city valued at that who we were not interested in

theyve told Charlie they will be coming back with more tomorrow but let’s see”

Dragon1 on COYS:
We have loads of offers out fab really does believe in keeping sellers on their toes
fab is on another level the best dof we’ve had since arnesen

Tomasu will happen he will be a huge talent

Martinez , inter are trying to save face and solve their finances plus other clubs are bidding now will have to wait and see

nuno and fab both think we badly lack width they want a second winger in , we like sarr a lot , problem is he is watford best player and they quoted us a massive number to scare us off as they need him to stay up , we may pay it but not sure if they are sellers as prem survival more valuable
we bid for a Georgian winger kar something

there will be at least one center half if not two coming in

they want experience to partner Romero , talking to several including Cody and boating

we still want kounde and have bid for Villereal center half Torres we will not take both and Sanchez will go once we secure one , we have 4 bids in for Sanchez
no bids for dier or aurrier , only bid for winks was 12 from Everton

curkin wanted to go wanted to play we have sell on and buy back options

thanks Dragon! Seems like we are ready and waiting

(Google Translate) Information: Shakhtar's lateral dodo has a proposal from Tottenham. The British sent in an offer of 20 million euros and Shakhtar refused. Conversations follow, Ukrainian club wants to sell for higher value.

the story is extinct, wouldnt read too much in to it.

These deals not dependent on Kane going

That sounds dodgy, but I can imagine both club getting lawyers to look at loopholes for that to work. Clever on both sides.

could be why its been the best part of two weeks for news to start breaking, making sure both clubs are covered by the legal side before announcing.

Hmm that’s hard to believe

How could we afford to buy Sarr and Martinez without selling Kane?

Thats well over £100m before you factor in Tomiyasu and a CB as well.

so it's possible we're getting a fuck tonne of money from abu dhabi - but on the flip side we're flogging kane on the cheap to help them get past FFP? is that about the gist of it? i feel dirty if true, but i guess if you can't beat them? may as well have piece of the pie as it were? also fits into the ITK from H88 about getting some real quality if kane was to leave - seems the ducks are all seemingly getting lined up.

Disagree….not saying this is a good idea but we are still just the selling club like Aston Villa getting a high price for our asset. We are losing the asset for what is likely a fair but high price. The difference is that the money is coming from another source. Man City is still the one cheating and getting around FFP. The only liability I see is if we are are conspirators in helping them get around FFP rules. City have been getting inflated sponsorship deals all along. This way, they it will just appear like a smaller outlay for them without having to inflate their revenue numbers in some even more bogus sponsorship deal. The problem is it would be so obvious.

Creative just like the alleged deal.

That list from dragon doesn’t sound great. Not exactly what I was expecting. Sar, some Georgian winger, Coady,
Think Fab is realising we’ve not got Juves appeal

Why is that list not great. It says we are looking for wingers.
Lets remember that Salah is probably the best winger who is from Egypt, played for FC Basel , rejected by Chelsea...point is, it does not matter origin or who they play for. All we have to see if he will be a good fit and can we unearth a potential at low cost where others arent looking.
Other than that, list also talks about Boeteng, Torres possibilities - I will be delighted with one of those options

The will to buy these players isn’t dependent on Kane going but perhaps our choice of player might vary depending on whether we get a massive cash injection? I can’t see another reason we haven’t got a couple of these over the line already. Especially the RB and CB roles which are crucial and I would have thought would have been preferred in before the season started.

The Georgian player “Kar something” Dragon1 is referring to is likely Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

We were linked a few days ago by some journalists on Twitter.

I remember back in 2016 people were scoffing at Mane when he was at Southampton. Then Liverpool paid that £35m fee and the rest was history.

The truth is we have to do similar, target players from smaller teams who are not the finished article.

Sarr is a good example of someone we may have to pay a little over the odds for. But has great potential to take the next step.
