Net spend is virtually zero last I looked

We've actually generated a profit this window, thus far
Transfermarkt is not up to date as AG stated thet we only recieved aro
Bit misleading to not include Romero considering its an obligation to buy. I’m sure there is a loan fee as well and the club is counting the transfer costs as part of our ins and outs this summer
Also it has been reported even by AG believe that Toby did not go for close to 12m , it was for arounf 4.2m as they wanted to free up his wages and he wanted to go.

It's an option as far as I'm aware. And the fee doesn't have to be paid for two years (basing that on the loan length). It's a similar situation with Gollini.

edit - thought Romero was 2 years like Gollini but looks like it's only one

Not really - there are always expenditures on new signings that aren't in the transfer fee (agent fees, signing on bonuses etc), and deductions on incoming fees ('loyalty fees', agent fees, no doubt some sort of tax etc). It's probably fair to say any visible "zero net spend" is probably a few million in the red. Reality is that the FIFA/Football Manager model of "spend per window" is based on nonsense anyway, and modern transfers are a bit more like a massive credit card that gets paid off in chunks at regular intervals, with available funds probably being more comparable to a credit limit.

I guess it depends on what is expected as an obligation with Gollini/Romero as to that true spend.

What will be interesting is how they are anticipating any additional players being funded - are they going to be loans with obligation, or have we freed up more money by doing that with the others? No doubt the reason why Kane's (potential) transfer is going to significantly affect things one way or another.

The only reason I'm replying to this is because I was going to post it anyway. Please don't @ me asking questions as 99% of the time I'll just put you on ignore. Nothing personal but if it's easier than getting caught up in the shit storm that asking questions can cause........

That said he wants to go, I've said that before. He's very close to Serge and Sissoko and we are actively trying to shift both. He's very sulky and lazy when things aren't going his way. We are happy if he goes, but it's not easy because no one has any money and he's on pretty high wages. My guess would be he goes out on loan or we can shoe horn him into a deal for a striker coming the other way. The latter preferable.
I’m one of Ndombele’s biggest fans, he’s a fantastic ball carrier but he’s really starting to piss me off now. He’s like a schoolkid when his mates get moved from his table

Fabrizio Romano has just said on Sky Sports that Paratici wants another CB, another midfielder, and a back-up striker.

"Back up" is an interesting term at this point, suggests that Kane would be staying if that's the case.
Bloody hate that term.

Really wanted Ndombele to do well and prove people wrong. The boy has the talent, but that isn't enough. If we get a good offer, it's worth selling or loaning. Real shame, because this is one of those "what could have been" players.

Clutching, they aren't going to say replacement are they. Means nothing.

Does anyone use Kraken? Seems that their withdrawal fees are v good so considering this as an option given Binance is still a bit limited for withdrawals and deposits
You may be right I wouldn't know as I've not seen any ITK on it.

It was always 1 striker in unless Kane went, then it was 2. I agree it's good that we are still only looking for a squad player forward. But if city then come in with the right price, it will be 2 strikers which is what the ITK said at some point.

He needs to go. Nuno had us playing like maniacs yesterday- controlled maniacs of course, but that energy made it very tricky for City after our initial slow start. We absolutely do not want sulky, man babies in the squad- we need commitment and togetherness if we’re to emerge from the late Pochettino and Mourinho shit show
It´s hard to see HK adopting to the style of play we showed yesterday. During his first years under Poch, yes - but the Harry Kane of 2021; I´m doubtful.

IF Harry stays he has to change, or Nuno has to change his system and energetic style of play.

I hope we go all in for Kulusevski as the option to Support/to play with/rotate. Everyone is talking about Isak but here in sweden most sees Kulusevski as the bigger talent. Now with Dybala back as a starter for Juve i really hope Paratici brings him in and if Kane goes Vlahovic joins. Kulu would be perfect to play alongside son in a 2 or on right in a 3. If we can get him in for around 50m it would be the best signing in my opinion.
Tjäna, grabben! ;-)

This is quite interesting. I imagined Sweden´s chances in the Euros were hampered by his absence in the start of the tournament. Is the general feeling in Sweden really that Kulu is the new big thing?

The beautiful part of winning yesterday was it puts the balance of power in Nuno’s hands - Kane can’t walk back in with a “you-need-me” attitude as it only took one game to prove that we can achieve great performances without him entirely.
