So Sky Sports are saying that Romano has said that City are putting in a 150m bid. I thought we'd already been there but maybe they were just thinking about it before or "preparing a bid" (whatever that even means). Either way - whatever, it's not enough.

I just don't get why anyone would suggest ManC would offer a € amount to another UK club. It's just piss-taking IF TRUE! It just seems like Sky are stirring the pot for clicks on their site.

Remember when we were considered the ‘Bank of England’ club and went out and bought who we wanted, blowing rivals out of the water? Done with such more class than the big money clubs today. Then again we’re a Football Club not a franchise, with a proper legacy fan base.
No; but does it count if I remember when we borrowed £175,000,000 from the Bank of England? :ROFLMAO:

I really have no clue what’s coming our way Before the windows shuts

Must admit the latest rumors is a bit underwhelming compared too what I expected based on some of the positive vibes from Val and others…

maybe it’s a smokescreen….Cause signing players like Nandez and milenkovic can hardly be considered taking advantage of a broken serie A IMO

well… enjoy the ride folks - and a huge thanks to everyone sharing info and bits !

Maybe because he's Italian or perhaps because we want paying in Euros to go into our Euro account out of which we pay for our replacements.

Man City fans totally over confident? Never seen that before
Man City fans were also over confident prior to kick off yesterday, they were also over confident 15 minutes into the game, they remained over confident at half time, and even after Son scored, they probably went from over confident to just plain confident with 15 mins to go, in the end their over confidence and confidence didn't affect the outcome one bit.

If they remain over confident that they can pursue this and think we will fold with a series of derisory bids, see paragraph above......

This. I seem to remember an ITK a couple of windows ago saying that we use a Euro bank account for the transactions (rather than converting and paying fees to a bank) so it would make sense that any deal would actually be in Euros - the replacements are all being touted from outside the UK.
