I think that is his plan.

So N'Zog possibly handing in Transfer request, Iam Broomfield at Wigan the other night, Harry watching him last night, One of Scouts black players? I've always quite like him personally, but not sure he has that real quality we need.

It's weird that we are so hell-bent on Richards. Even if you think he's a potentially good CB and a bargain buy (count me skeptical), why are we still focusing on him when it's obvious Man City are screwing around with us? Walker's a pretty similar player who's been looking good in pre-season, and I thought we'd already bought King's long-term replacement: Bassong.

Not sure I would understand us signing N'Zogbia (his name is far too difficult to write btw).

Whereas Young/Bellamy/Remy seem to be forwards who can play on the wing I'd see N'Zogbia more as an out and out midfielder. Surely we've got Kranjcar who covers that role?

I can see where your coming from but he has an excellent work rate, pacy, can take players on, great left foot, scores goals and can also defend....surely we could find room for him in our squad, He`s very underrated IMO....

Agreed!I've liked him for a couple of years now and while he probably wouldn't make the left wing spot his own he is a very useful player to have and would give us balance on the left playing in front of Bale.

I think N'Zogbia would be a decent signing. If we stick with 4-4-2, he provides us with a genuine left-footed left-winger, which we're maybe not so desperate for as we once were, with Bale and Modric both able to fill the position well, but he would definitely give us a useful option. And if we go 4-3-3, he can play in that right-wing role, cutting in, as he's done for Wigan. Although if we sign Parker as well, after signing Bassong last year, it would illustrate a worrying trend of signing former Newcastle players...

I'd love Ireland . Great player. Don't understand why Mancini doesn't see it. Everyteam needs a gerrard or lampard and I know alot of people may not agree with me but I think Ireland has the potential.

Probably because there's bugger all happening transfer wise, everything and everyone seem to be gearing up for our opener on Saturday.

And how does that differ from the past six weeks? Don't think I've ever seen two hours pass without a post in here. Remarkable stuff!
