Curse of the 'done deal'. Remember Bonjourno in 2006 announcing that Micah Richards was signed, sealed and about to be delivered?

SWP was done too we were told to wave to Ian Wright i the crowd next season. And Damien Duff was "nailed on".

Not blaming anyone, I doubt any ITKs that are faking it would every proclaim a deal is done wrongly on purpose as you get found out pretty quick. Just one of the downsides of this game of Chinese whispers we all play.

They probably did. It is taken from The Times who said we are 'close' to agreeing a deal with Man City where we will pay 75k a week contribution towards his wages.

Also, if I see any more rumours about us agreeing terms with that camel Bendtner I'm gonna cry! Gotta be a fricking WUM

Just trying to get my head around things. So wages are the issue? These top players aren't going to start asking for less money now or in the future. I can't see us changing our structure and as much as I want to fight for top 4 would rather we were a stable club. With this in mind what chance diver have of maintaining the momentum of the last 2 years?.....I actually really feel for Levy but admire his integrity, yes he could say fuck it lets pay whatever it takes and basically gamble on our future or stick with the current structure and ensure the club stays afloat. Problem with the latter is it will mean the majority of us fans will have to re-evaluate our expectations. I certainly have found this window extremely frustrating but unlike many I do not see it as a lack of ambition.

The ITK suggests a loan for Ade is more likely and from a Colin perspective I can understand that. If the loan pays off we finish top four and can be frugal in the market, it doesn't and we can say our goodbyes and are no worse off

Not really - it saves them £5.2m in wages for a player who wouldn't make their 25 man squad.

Remember City now see their rivals as United and Chelsea. We're in the second tier with Arsenal and Liverpool.

Jadson is a CAM, 27 years old, Brazillian national team, supposed to be a bit good. Kinda makes sense as a Fabregash replacement I guess, but doesn't strike me as a very Wenger signing (although Arshavin was nudging 30 when he signed), espescially when they've got Wilshere, Ramsey, Rosicky, Song, Diaby

Just to add some Friday cheer to the place, it seems Wenger is getting an absolute roasting from the press at his Friday pre match conference. With Fibreglass and that lesbian looking bloke being left out of their squad (and imminently sold :dance, and Wilshere and Diaby injured I think this weekend may just turn out ok! :grin:
