I asked after the last window about all of the so called Spanish deadline day quartet. Harry would have had any of em. He then that it shows intent bidding for these world class players. Aguero in his eyes was a no go. Forlan was always gonna be hard to justify the wages and fee for. Llorente and Rossi were both very much possibles. Of the two Harry has been clear since LAST summer that rossi is número uno, Harry does not do the deals but I know for a fact that he has been a long term target.

What people forget is Harry has built a reputation of stockpiling players, spend spend spend. Now why would that change at spurs? Harrys idea? Mmmmm I don't think so

I really don't buy this thing about Harry being "indecisive" Yes, he may have passed on Suarez after, as he confirmed, his scouts (Broomfield) didn't think that he could play upfront by himself with VDV.

What one man calls indecisive, could also Harry saying he wants player A, B or C, and then Levy coming back saying they want too big wages, but you can have player X, Y or Z, and Harry saying, I don't fancy them...

VDV is a creator who plays best in the hole. Where he is not hindered by his lack of positional sense.

Well, that's all good and dandy and all, and I'm not saying I disagree with you on that...but, it's just that when we play 4-5-1 with VDV (which is, clearly the most effective way to accomodate him), he does, ineffect, take the place of a striker on the team sheet. That's why some folk, not necessarily me, tend to treat him as a forward.

For the record guys, this is not a new problem. Use the log go back 2 years and read my first itk. Harry was frustrate even then at how slow we do things

My money would be on another striker coming in. However, the way things have been going the term 'my money' actually means about ten pence
