I don't think we are. I actually think, injuries permitting, the squad right now with no additions (possibly right wing back, but I think Doc is such a clever player, and so underrated) is good enough to challenge.

Bissouma is the key signing for me. Man is an absolute beast. He's the type of midfielder who can turn a game on his own, and with our fire power, there's a chance. I'm not deluded enough to think City aren't favourites, but there's a chance.

Nope your definitely being deluded. We still need a few additions rwb is key let’s be honest Emerson can’t attack and doc for all his improvement still has a lot to prove and getting no younger. Need a cam to break teams down at certain times and another top cb again for the improvement Dier and Davies aren’t winning you a title. Trust that we get a rb, cm and a cb and I think we are really in business. 4 of the 5 players bought in go into the first 11 as it stands.

For me I don't think we will be transformed into title contenders but I have to say I like our chances of top 3 and being a lot closer to the big 2.

This. It’s a project, even Conte has said that today. Progress this year should be to target 3rd and place pressure on top two (rather than battle for 4th as we have done this year) and maybe some cup success, both of which I think we can do.
Sounds like all ITK is aligning towards RWB, CB and AM as the last three spaces we are aiming to fill. Again, Conte has been very clear today that we are still looking to make additions. Reality is we are way ahead of where we’d normally be. Few outgoings now, and I expect the last incomings to get over the line. No panic. A full Conte pre-season for the rest of the squad is just as important as the transfers.

Bit of perspective, we've signed 5 blooming players before preseason tour! We usually struggle with that a window! As long as we get a RB and shift some we've had a blinder

The way I see it is we’ve scored 3 goals in the first half, but the games not over yet.

So while we have to be delighted with the performance so far, it’s still ok to make judgments on our second half performance aswell.

Interestingly though, and something noone has touched on though from what I can see, is alot of recent ITK is still about incomings and nothing on outgoings.

Currently we're in a good position, 3 additions would be great but the real cherry on top would be shifting those that have been left put of the tour.

Ndombele aside, all of our "outgoing" players have been linked to clubs. History shows that most transfer activities occur towards the end of the window when clubs try to finalise for next season.

3 more signings to come, Conte is enthusiastic, no panic mode necessary just because of who our rivals are linked with, yeah really downbeat.

Maybe going by Hercules info last of the eyes and the drum roll the club must have been confident then going by the latest from Herc things have hit a snag or two for that matter but to think we could have gotten another 2 in this early again is really impressive even if there is a snag.

Great update from Herc. In particular, that Conte feels good about what we have done so far. And there is still a long way to go until the window closes. We are already much approved! Everything else will be icing on the cake. ?
