But is it that clear cut? Yes we finished 4/5/4 but we also fell apart two seasons running and should have finished 4th and 3rd. There are plenty of worse managers than Harry out there but that's not to say we can't do better and we should be aiming at doing better because everyone else around us is. Harry wanting the England job is understandable and I don't think anyone has a problem with that however it's the way he went about it and stopped working for 3 months. All he spoke about press conference after press conference was England and he then has the cheek to insult us fans saying we've never had it so good, that the only game we played badly was against Norwich - a year after calling us fans idiots I think plenty of people have had enough of the man.
I admit I want him out, I also did last summer though I was the first to say fair play to the man during the first half of the season. The second half reminded me why I wanted him out the year before. What is clear cut though is that the man is not a winner, does not have the balls to admit when he is cocked up instead blaming all around him - it's always somebody else's fault.........and I will never ever forget the Aston Villa game where he took of VDV and replaced him with Parker in a must win game against the worst Villa side in decades. Can we really not do better than him?
Gone and quit are 2 separate things. He hasnt gone. Harry has just said on espn he hasnt quit.
Redknapp told ESPN: "No, I haven't resigned, and I have no idea why it is being suggested that I have resigned.
"This is an outrage; an absolute liberty for people to be putting around this kind of rumour on the internet. It is not true, there is not a chance I will resign. Why should I? I have a year left on my contract."

Theres one guy on SO that keeps saying it will be announced on Friday along with a takeover of the club.

In these situations, it is usual to announce first and sort out the details after (rather than sort out compensation etc before announcing). The lack of any announcement from the club makes me think that this COULD be another case of internet conjecture feeding on itself. I would not be surprised if Levy and Harry are looking at all this and laughingArchie isn't talking like its pure opinion
In response to people overreacting to news
but is he staying
Gone and quit are 2 separate things.
but he does not say he has not been sacked
It will be interesting if Harry appears on the Beeb anytime soon - lets hope Gary is still asking pertinent questions!
Anger at the rumours only, surely.Nobody has said he's resigned have they? He sounds angry though.
