Still not much ITK on outgoings and now a load of the players will be going to South Africa. Doesn't mean transfers can't continue but would have been nice to get some out the door before we went away.

Was just going to say. Apart from Sandro and King, whoever is left behind is surely out of the door soon.

Unfortunately I very much doubt that teams will be following our pre-season games. We have to sell players based on their performances last season which in the case of players like Keane and Bentley isn't going to help.

I assume we won't be in a hurry to sell Wilson now that Sandro is injured.

With the 1st game due on Sat, you would have thought that they would depart Thurday, those that are going. At least it would give some thing concrete on who we want out for sure.

from reading the media reports, dangerous i know, it would seem he may only be 4-6 weeks, Cant see that as a reason to hold on to Pacman.

Its come from the football editor of the The Times. Not exactly a red top and don't tend to post things unless they are 80% sure at least.

Reports yesterday suggested that the Old Lady had basically agreed personal terms with the Italian and now just had to convince his Spanish club to sell.

While Federico Pastorello admitted contact with the Bianconeri, he insisted that there was nothing concrete.

“Juventus have made enquiries, as have other clubs,” Pastorello told Sky Spot Italia.

“I’m not a Juventus official and all that I will say is that Rossi could be a transfer objective of theirs seeing as they are looking for a striker.

“We can talk about it, but it is all hypothetical at the moment.

“Rossi is content at Villarreal and he has a good contract. He’s not desperate to leave at all costs. We are calm about everything.”

Nevertheless, the agent did confirm reports that he will be heading to Spain in the next few days to talk to Villarreal.

“There are a number of clubs who are interested and any decision will be taken in agreement with Villarreal.”

The Liga outfit value Rossi somewhere in the region of €30m. It’s understood that Juve are now targeting Rossi after signing Atletico Madrid ace Sergio Aguero proved too expensive.[/FONT]
