Imagine a Moutinho/Hulk double signing, what a statement of intent that would be. Would probably cost in excess of 60 million euros though and I'm not sure Porto would sell their 2 best players in one window, especially with so little time to replace them.

Still, it's nice to dream.

Seriously though, if Grey Fox has been asked to keep it quiet then fair enough. Good to know he's excited about whoever it is though.

Not to get too caught up in this, as I think Levy is a great chairman, but for me Campbell represents not just the United deal, but also our inability to bring in a decent replacement due to the deal happening when we had no time to find a replacement. Sure..Levy got the cash, but as far as Tottenham Hotspur football club was concerned, that window left the team in a poor situation.

Glad you added the final sentence, I mean we've fannied all summer and failed to bring in a striker up to this point and now we could sign Moutinho & Hulk?!?

It would certainly make me think twice about the words I currently have in my mind reserved for Sept 1st!

But , if i understood it correctly earlier, the LOC is underpinning OUR credit worthiness, if we are the buying entity, so could be anywhere. Given the state of Spanish, Italian and Portugese banks and economies, it would not surprise me if it has become pretty common practise in those countries
