What was all this about Thudd doesn't want to move/go... He's gone to a club below him IMHO but good luck to the lad.

I'll have a bet with you that he doesn't. The loser pays 5 pound to SC? When we play Hull, whoever is playing, be it Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho or Sandro will snaffle him up. He won't be in the game at all.

Sure, sounds good. (y)

Although, I never said he'd play well. Just that he'd score a screamer. The Law belonging to Mr Sod was very clear about that. ;)

Or to give the full answer:

When Spurs enjoy 73% possession against Hull, hit the post fourteen times, have a further thirty shots on goal and are 1-0 up until Tom Huddlestone secures a draw for Hull when he hits the top corner from forty yards with his side's first shot of the match in the 98th minute. ;)

And in between August 18 and that moment on October 26 its all upside.

I did say last week Hudd was 100% leaving! Can someone remind LLM he's lost his bet and now owes SC £10 ;)

Yea it does debunk LLM's theory that Hudd will definitely stay as he's loathe to leave London.

Just an observation, not knocking...

I get your point. Sod's law does state he will bang in a 30 yarder, i'm just very confident that our mobile and monstrous midfield will eat him up and keep him totally out of any game we play.

LLM has said he only believes this due to the moves Huddlestone has turned down in the past. Until this is officially confirmed though I wouldn't say too much or it could bite in the arse and he'll end up staying.

me too - just hope the endless fat jokes (ironically im sure posted by countless unfit people) can stop now
Back in the day few could hit a ball sweeter than Hudd and i'd hoped that after all the injury shit he went through that he'd eventually refind his best form with us and score that bloody goal that he never did.
I accept his time has come but it's still a shame.

Like the idea of Petagna. Said this before but have been confused that we have gone so long without taking a punt on an 18-22 year old striker. Someone from Europe with a bit of talent, who could mature and become great for us if they reach potential. Honestly, I think the last one was Postiga and even then we recouped most of the money even though he was a failure

I've been amazed that we haven't done this in many many years when it's what we do everywhere in our squad.

I'm not disagreeing with you...as I do think we need to strengthen in this department. But think Postiga wasn't the last attacker we bought, last year we got Souleymane Coulibaly, and not sure when but we also bought in young Coulthirst..who seems to be scoring like a joke ..had another hat trick last night... perhaps give them a go?

Not counting them as they are younger. Our whole remit as a club has been to buy talented European players in roughly the 18-22 range who already have some first team football and develop their potential. Except up front where we haven't done this - JD, Keane, Pav, Ade, Berbs etc etc

Hudd you can tell was a popular figure amongst the lads and im sure will be a big miss in the changing rooms, training etc.

Just a real shame he couldnt really show his true potential on the pitch because i always backed him up when others were more dismissive.

Anyways its a new chapter for him so i wish him well and will be watching him hopefully play a big part for Hull City. Good luck Tom.

There will be scenes of wild celebrations in Hull this evening. Mainly from the owners of fast food restaurants.

Good luck Hudd. Scored some stunning goals for us, but unfortunately has the mobility of Table Mountain.

Right so when sky sports news report anything about bale it's balls and yet with Hudd it's gospel? Strange that. Will wait for official confirmation I think.

I'm really surprised he has gone to Hull (great signing for them), yes he lacks pace but if he plays in a 3 man midfield he could be very influencial. Surprised a team like Everton didn't come in for him.

It hasn't been confirmed yet. Maybe Hull have gave him assurances of first team football that other sides couldn't.

I've had this image of the Hudd scoring a 30 hard screamer and celebrating by running over to the sidelines getting an instant hair cut with a pair of clippers.

So sad it will never happen!
